Touch up paint

Do multiple coats, and it will look fine
You definitely need to follow directions... shake for 30 seconds, then press the tip against cardboard for quite some time (like, 2 minutes). What was initially clear and watery started flowing white - a perfect match to my Kia's paint (right down to the sparkle). It's thin paint so it took ~3 coats (more on larger areas), but the results looks excellent even if you're standing 3 ft from your car. If you squat down and start looking for imperfections, you'll be able to see it... but this worked great for my purposes!I fixed several nicks, the largest being almost nickel size (unfortunately run-in with a cart corral). The larger the area, the more coats you're going to need (yes, it's that runny) - but this took my nickel sized black blemish and turned it into a minor white ripple in the paint - a major improvement!

Junk!!! Do Not Buy!
This product is pure junk. I followed the directions to a tee so I know it isn’t me. I’m usually pretty handy and good with things like this. There is no way this is a genuine Kia OEM paint stick. I’m 3 coats in and not one of my areas is even close to being covered or done. The package says to do a 2nd coat only if necessary. Thats’s funny. I might get some coverage after 7-8 coats but I am done trying. This will not adhere to any vertical surface. Beware if you are doing a door or a pillar. It will not work. It is very runny and thin. Coverage is terrible. I’d be better to use old fashioned white out as it would probably give better coverage than this crap. I’ve used touch up paint before on cars and that was a lot thicker and easier to apply than this. I buy a lot on Amazon and this may well be the single most disappointing purchase of all time. If I could give it zero stars I would. Of course it isn’t eligible for a return so my loss I guess. I hope this review will stop you from wasting your money like I did. Purchase at Your own risk.

It does the job, you just need to be patient for good results
A lot of people that are having trouble with this paint are probably having trouble due to a lack of patience and expecting it to work with 1 coat. It wont, it takes several coats to look good. The paint is very runny. So much so that I think they should have used a different applicator than a pen. Due to this runny paint you'll need to apply this very carefully and slowly with little tiny dabs. The color is spot on, definitely matches SWP so no worries there. It wont 100% become uniform with the factory paint but if your not looking for it you wont find it. I would definitely wait 6-12 hours before attempting to use the clear coat, especially if its rather cold out. I keep this pen in my car now for when I find more rock chips in my paint.

Dried Out and Unusable
The touch-up paint pen arrived and we followed the directions printed on the side of the pen. Despite shaking the pen for the advised time and attempting to activate the pen be pushing the tip down, we were not able to get any paint to come out. This touch-pen has tips on both ends and both were dried out. I would advise not to buy from this retailer. If you must due to limited retailers, be sure to check their return policy and check for dried out items as soon as they are received. This is not the first time this has happened. Touch-up paint pens have a very limited life span, especially if they sit in a warehouse waiting to be purchased.

Item displayed is NOT the one being SOLD and it's terrible!
First off the item here is not the one I received, and second of all the paint/quality of the product is horrible!! I had the original one back when I first got my car and the pain quality was really strong. This one? It looks like you're using water colors and it just doesn't match up. Unfortunately it seems that these were remade by the manufacturer and they suck! I say this because prior to buying this I went to the dealer and they sold me the same thing (it's now an all white pen) so when I saw this in the original color pen ( orangey with black tops) I thought "Yes it's the original one," once I opened the box....total disappointment because I knew already how bad the pen was since it was the all white one I got from the dealer just recently!

It’s not “runny”
For all those who say it’s to “runny”, it’s because you’re supposed to dab the paint onto a piece of cardboard or something and then act like the pen is a paint brush and dip it and Then touch up your scratch. It’s not to “runny” you just have to use it the correct way.

Disappointing
It is bellow decent. I did everything according to instructions and it doesn’t not work over plastic. And it is not so good over steel. I tried 5 times on 5 different days and the paint is so weak that is not able to cover. It becomes messy but not good

Waste of money!
This was absolutely useless! I have a new Kia Sorento and noticed an area that was hit with road debris so wanted to cover the blemish with this product. This product looked clumpy and tacky. It actually made the area look way worse! Complete waste of money!
