Works perfectly for starting seedlings.
I absolutely love this coir mix for starting my seedlings. Very easy to use - just chip off some and add water, so you can use only what you need. This mix is lightweight but holds water well, but doesn't over-saturate.It also makes it easy to know when to water again by the color. I have used other mixes that just don't compare to this mix - they were very lumpy or had salts that would kill my seedlings. This is my number one choice. This mix is so much easier to use than dirt, seed-starting mix or potting mix. It is so small and easy to store and expands well and fills many tray cells - it goes a long way. If I don't use it all, I just put it up to store and use again next season. It is also very useful for the plants that need very well drained soil. I would definitely recommend

Great stuff!
I used this as an additive to my aroid soil mixture, and it works beautifully! This package will make absolute MASSES of coir! I repotted three huge Monstera Deliciosa, and a smaller Rhaphidophora and there’s an entire block remaining, and then some. I will say that the coir is pretty fine when it puffs up and holds a bit more water than I expected, but I used it as a component in a soil mixture so that wasn’t a problem for me. All in all I give it a thumbs up.

More accurate measurements please.
No problems with the priduct but held the 5th star because they are so vague on the actual measurements. This is a 3 brick package. All 3 swelled to about 30 quarts. So I would better estimate that one brick makes about 10 quarts. To be fair none of the other sellers give accurate amount either.

Great coco
I'm a big fan of this product. My only complaint is no one sells the 11lb or 5 kilo blocks. Only these 3 smaller bricks, which costs much more . Which I cannot afford

Black gold down the road I go. Lol

Good stuff
I've ordered this twice now. It's a really good amount for the price I paid. The price does seem to shift up and down quite a bit. No complaints, I be buying again when I run out

Grow medium for the eSuperegrow Hydroponics system
UPDATE:1. I needed to use a circular saw to cut the coir into blocks sized correctly for the hydroponics grow unit.2. Coir expands dramatically when placed in water. My 3 cut blocks was actually sufficient for about 10 grow blocks! Be very careful how much you put in. I had never used coconut coir before, so I had no idea of how much it would expand. The thickness is enough for AT LEAST THREE grow medium cubes! So, instead of having about 9 blocks per slab, I actually have over 25 - that makes coir a very economical solution for replacement grow medium! One of the key complaints people who purchased the eSuperegrow Hydroponics Growing System for Indoor Outdoor Garden have posted was a lack of a source for the growing medium. This product is shipped in blocks that are the right thickness and only need to be cut down to size to fit into the receptacles. Perfect for the next round of growing as the individual plugs won't work.
