SalewaAlp Trainer Mid Gore-Tex Men's Boots

Great boots, I trust them to keep my feet warm and dry for when I need to cover any distance. Fit well and look great in the orange colourway. Only slight issue is that the laces are a bit short.

I bought a pair of GTX ( winter boots ). I wasn’t really happy with them at first, and had never heard of Salewa, but after I figured out how to get everything fitted, they were amazing. I then got a pair of MS boots for the spring/ summer. They are the best boots I have ever owned. The soles are the most gripping, total trust in them. Waterproof and breathable, comfortable from the off.. another pair getting ordered soon for next year. Quality is great and a great value. These are a no brainier. Happy to go anywhere in the uk with these..

Lets start with the down side which is what you really want to know.. The laces are to short and the heel pull loop is to small to put your finger in and to low down to pull the boot on. Other than that the boots are Very comfortable...well made, and im very happy with them

Comfortable , but Dispite being gortex not waterproof atall .After 3.5 months of use the heel is detachingDisappointing being salewa. And past return window on amazon , let's see if Salewa actually do anything , hopefully just a defective pair and not slipping in there quality control

Like all Salewa boots, these are a joy to wear - very comfortable, light and grippy. The trade for lightness in this particular boots is rigidity but they aren't really a technical boot - great for hiking though not in very wet conditions. Dew and bog seeps through frustratingly quickly but that is a problem I have had with all Salewa boots except their hardcore winter ones that are bombproof. Highly recommend for anyone that can put up with average waterproofing.

Hi ive had these for 2 years now and don't get me wrong there comfy and best boots ive purchased but after two years of light use of walking around fields which isn't hard wear and tear on the boots im disappointed the sole has come away and leaking water in if that hadn't happened i would of said best boots ive ever had and would of highly recommended. but for this reason im not happy with the boots!( spoken to manufacturer and resolved issue and send out full replacement) happy customer and advise buy cause these are the best boots you can buy!

Folllow salewa's foot measuring guidance to ensure correct fit. I'm usually a UK 9 and ordered a 9.5 and they fit AMAZINGLY. The climbing lace system ensures a bespoke fit. The boots are light and support well. The sole grips in wet mud and grass but also on shale and rock. My only negative was they let water in after a long walk in the wet but that did include full submersion. Overall for a lighter 3 season boot that are perfect, no exceptions

Quality value. Most comfortable stable shoe I've owned. for walking and hiking, or using at work on roofs and climbing up structural steels.
