Works well with wheelchair and walker. Might be aluminum but is a bit heavy but still easy to handle.

This ramp is great and has been so helpful to our family. If you need a temporary ramp this has been great. It folds up and stores easy. It is heavy but I think thats just a sign of sturdiness.Be mindful of the weight limit. And the angle in which you are using this (depends on the size you purchase and the amount of stairs you are trying to cover with the ramp).This is helpful for those who need a temporary ramp and for those who are waiting on a permanent ramp.Just be sure to follow the directions and check placement of the ramp before trying to transport anyone up and down it.

So I got this 8ft ramp for my 2 steps into the living room. They measure a total of 15.75” high, and the ramp is supposedly good up to 16”. I would say that is only for those that are very able bodied but unable to walk, or with assistance because of the angle it creates.That being said, it claims rated for 600lbs. I am 215-220lbs including my wheelchair. My wife is 150lbs. So total max weight together is 370lbs. Far below the 600 lb rating. But the flex is significant enough at our weight, that I seriously question the 600 lb rating.That being said, it will certainly serve the purpose I bought it for. Just trying to give honest information for someone considering this ramp. As far as portability goes, it’s weight is a little bit much for the slightly awkward shape of it when folded. So if you’re using it like me, stationary, and don’t care about the folding feature, then go for it! If you think it ll be an easy set up and take down for frequent use, maybe, maybe not.

It work just fine

This is a very light weight ramp to put down and pick up. However it doesn’t feel that sturdy when walking on it. I purchased it for my husband who uses a walker to get down from our porch which has two steps. I guess I measured incorrectly because it is too steep to go from my porch to the ground. So I have to put it on the second step. So it kinda defeats my purpose to eliminate the stairs for him. So measure carefully and correctly before you order.

These are very durable. Well made and love the fact that you can fold it up when you don't need it.

Use this for multiple purposes for elderly parent. Ramp for shower, doorways, etc.
