Great Sanding blocks & Deal!

The shape made it really convenient to get into tighter corners to sand. These fit really nicely in your hand. They bend a bit to make it easy to twist and bend, vs a 2x4 wrapped in sandpaper (DIY sand block). The sandpaper portion lasts longer than a cheap piece of sandpaper. I was able to sand wooden deck chairs and give them new life. These chairs looked old and gray, and the sanding renewed their appearance nicely. They fit snugly in the box, and we use it for storage. I appreciate the label on the ends of each of the types of sand blocks, so I can easily choose the correct one, vs flipping through sheets and sheets of sandpaper. This weekend warrior loves these!

i will shoot you straight. these are not expensive or high quality sanding sponges. these are what you would get as a value pack from a big box store. the price is making this a good value, which is why i rated 4/5 stars. the more common sanding grits are 2x, and if you're like me, you can utilize the lower grit sponges as higher grit after you've warn them down, so you get kind of a "transitionary" grit and prolonged life. this is a great kit to have on hand for random projects and touch-ups of old ones. if you're doing a large job or know you're going to hit a certain grit more than this kit, you'll need to look elsewhere (i would say this about any company set like this). overall, this is perfect for 90% of project DIY'ers, including myself (i've been building kitchens and dining tables for 16+ yrs).
