Our upholstered big dining room chairs have always been tough to maneuver across our thick carpet. Required pivoting & some manhandling. Not good for small or elderly guests. These chair galoshes slide right on over the leg bottoms. Not hard to put on. Fits great.These leg sliders make the chairs slide very easily. They are a great solution and look ok on.

I have 4 counter-height stools that came with basic plastic feet secured by a single nail. Not the highest quality stools and the manufacturer definitely went cheap on the feet. We have tile floors, so the friction encountered whenever the feet would come up against the space between the grout and the tile wore those feet down over time and eventually some the plastic feet chipped off ... leaving the EXPOSED NAIL! I know, terrible, right?!After painstakingly removing the remains of each of the plastic feet I was able to get *most* of the remaining nails as well (using vice grips to grab on to the tiniest metal nub still protruding from the bottom of each leg), however, I couldn't get all of them. In a couple cases, even the nail was worn down so there was not enough metal to bite onto to be able to remove it. Now I know I probably could've drilled them out, but that would've left me with no material left to replace the feet! What to do?!I stumbled on these "cap" style chair feet and decided to give them a shot.Believe me when I tell you these changed my life. Not only were they a bit more discreet than I thought they would be (who *really* looks at the bottom of their stool legs anyway?!), but they allowed my stools to slide so much easier making them easier to maneuver when getting in and out of the stool. They are just slippery enough to slide, but not too slippery that you feel unsecure when sitting on the stools.I tried it out on one stool, loved the outcome so much, I just filed down the remaining couple of nail nubs, and put these chair leg sliders on all 4 of my stools.But here's the kicker, I have these 6 *heavy* dining chairs. They're really nice, but the didn't have any feet on them, so you really had to pick them up to move them between the area rug under the dining table. This wasn't a big deal for me, but the women in my life (mom, wife, daughters) didn't love it and my youngest daughter would often climb into the dining chairs to avoid moving them.I tried these chair leg sliders on the dining chairs, BOOM! Life changed again. They worked perfectly and made the dining chairs seem 20lbs lighter! Since I only had 2 sets of sliders remaining (used 16 of the 24 on the stools), I bought another set to put these sliders on the rest of the dining chairs.These made so much of a difference that I didn't tell my family what I did and THEY ALL NOTICED commenting, "Hey, these are so much easier to move!" The best part was when my mom could move the chairs around without lifting them.I bought these 4 months ago, and they're still going strong. Highly recommend!

Very good quality for my use. The sides of the glides are tacky and fit perfectly on my chair feet. Tacky is good, they will not slide off. The “glider” part (the bottom) is highly polished, curved and move smoothly on my carpet. YMMV.

These chair leg sliders do work well. However, they run small in reference to the seller's size chart. The first set of sliders I ordered (large) were too small for our 4 Ashley kitchen island counter stools' legs. I even measured the stools' legs before ordering these sliders, and ordered the large size according to the size chart. Fortunately, I was able to exchange the large sliders for the extra large sliders with no problem.These sliders glide well over carpet, wood and ceramic tile, and the stay in place on the stools' legs. These sliders are also flexible and easy to install. The clear sliders are nearly unnoticeable, except for the black slider part under the stool legs. The other nice feature of these sliders is that if one of the stools' legs is a little shorter than the rest (causing the stool to slightly wobble), a shim can be placed inside the slider, eliminating the wobble. A really handy feature if you ask me.Overall, I do recommend these sliders, as they are easy to install and glide very well over multiple floor surfaces. The only reason I am deducting one star is due to the incorrect size chart, causing me the inconvenience of having to exchange the first set of sliders I ordered because they were to small.

There is nothing to dislike about these chair leg sliders. They fit perfectly and were so easy to slip on. Also, they are not coming off like those silly stick on glider caps or collect the fuzz that can happen with the felt ones. You can barely see them. These will save the chairs from being unnecessarily tugged on, affecting the life of the chair itself and it will save the rug that they sit on. It is effortless when you have to pull the chair out or push in, just a finger. And, when you sit on the chairs and have to scoot up closer to the table, you're not feeling like you're moving a trailer full of rocks behind you. I also like that the clear part protects the bottoms of the chairs from the sweeper and feet. I don't have a lot of strength in my fingers and these slid on wonderfully. I did put 4 sliders on a larger bar stool and though the next size would have been a better fit, these fit just fine - just needed to be tugged a bit to get on. A wish - I wish the quantity of gliders you receive was more consistent to the number of chairs that are typically around the table. We have 8 chairs which would need just 32 gliders. I had to buy 2 packs of 24 to get the quantity I needed and I have extra. Also, when you sit on the chair after putting on the sliders, you will hear a small squeak and I assume it's just the sliders seating themselves completely. That squeak has gone away as we've used the chairs.

These protecters are good quality, slides easy and quietly over carpet. It is definitely worth the price.

Does not slide easily on outdoor carpet

We had new chairs that were refusing to move on our tiles. I spent a lot of time going over my options, then honed in on these. My feet were slightly rectangular, these were square but the info is very good. They fit like a glove and gives us a smooth ride, thank you.

So far so good! They slide well on our hardwood floors. Don't know yet how long they will last before we need to change them; but fingers crossed they will do the job!

It solved our problem with the chairs on the carpet. Able to slide out with ease and not damage the rug.

They were easy to install and make it easy to slide the chairs on the rug.

The sliders are as described and fit my chair feet perfectly, easy to put on. Now the chairs are far easier to move around on the carpet, fine as well on wood floor.
