If food is too hot the spoon will lose its shape. Not very good for eating cereal. I would only use for party purposes. They are very sturdy and do not break. No loose wood. Safe for kids and adults

These are far sturdier than I anticipated. I used my fork to cut up a chicken patty, just to see how strong the tines are. It held up without any issues. The knife has enough of a sharp edge that it will actually cut your food. The handles are firm and not flimsy in the least. These are going to make gorgeous wedding flatware.If you are purchasing these strictly for the environmental side of things, I would advise to steer clear, They obviously come with plastic tape on the cardboard box as well as plastic bags for each set of utensils.So, a bummer there....but the quality is definitely there. Just work on the plastic part of the equation.

Perfect alternative to plastic utensils for a party, bbq, or holiday. I don't know about you, but when there are kids invited, and running around and plates and utensils laying around everywhere, I get nervous with my "good" utensils accidentally ending up in the trash. So we usually use plastic utensils from Costco. These bamboo utensils have a nice weight and feel to them in the hand.So much nicer than generic plastic utensils. And a whole lot better for the environment. I guess if you wanted to, you could also secretly hand wash and re-use them a few times. I won't tell anyone. No judging here. You do you. Hah!

So I love the convenience of disposable silverware when we have guests over - particularly for a cook out - but I also cringe at the thought of plastic silverware going into a landfill , so I usually skip it and have a bunch of silverware to wash. NO MORE. Now that I found these, I’ll never go back. Very clearly bamboo - so my guests won’t judge me, I can set out these very strong disposable utensil and just make sure I compost these later. They are strong, nice and smooth (not splintery like cheap chopsticks) and bamboo grows 20x faster than wood so it’s sustainable. This hits all the marks. If I’m lazy, I’ll even use them for a casual dinner with just me and my better half.

I love the how modern and chic they are on top of them being biodegradable I Would’ve never thought of them being so sturdy and cute felt almost foreign at first because we’re so used to plasticware !! These are a must have especially for life due to all the current change’s around the world. My only issue would be never wanting to throw them away because they are sooooo cuteeee!!
