Words Their Way: Vocabulary for Elementary Mathematics (Words Their Way Series)

I've used Words Their Way ( WTW) as a foundation to my instruction for well over a decade. Having moved out of the classroom to serve as a math couch resource teacher and given our school's focus on vocabulary and writing across all content areas, I was thrilled when I learned there was a WTW focusing on math and, thus, I really looked forward to getting this book.Regrettably, I am rather disappointed in both the quality and content of this. WTW volume. The text is printed on low quality paper, something of a surprise given its cost. I expected to find resources and a more user friendly layout similar to those in preceding WTW but, alas, that is not the case. The content focus is on upper grades of elementary/middle school with little to no attention given to lower grades and early learner development. This leveling wasn't clear from the description and really should be added for future customer clarity.I gave two stars because there's enough content that I am able to go back over the book again with an eye towards backwards mapping the materials to apply to primary math grades but it would be great if the publisher would do the same.
