Awesome retrofit
Looks good. Main body feels solid. Actual roll holder is plastic which is disappointing but doesn't take away from the experience. The biggest positives are that it is a good retrofit for existing holders and arms come out slightly more so COSTCO sized rolls still spin smoothly.

Unfortunately it was dented on the corner!

The spring loaded in the roller was too stiff and extended too much making it difficult to load toilet paper. The arms on the one I received was not parallel and bent outwards.

"Jumbo" sized rolls do indeed fit
**What it is and why it's good**1. This chrome holder is classy, well made, and is metal (some of these chrome holders out there are actually chrome-painted plastic, so beware). This one, however, is metal.2. It comes with the screws, and the spring-loaded bar that holds the role.3. "Jumbo" sized rolls do indeed fit without issue. I shop at Costco and they have ginormous roles. I've tried Kirkland brand, Charmin jumbo (my favorite), Cottonelle wide sheets, and Quilted Northern jumbo. They all fit with room to spare. In 2 of my pics, I have a brand-new Jumbo role of Charmin in the holder so you can see. There is plenty of room and the role spins freely/easily.**What it is not and some things to consider**It does not include the mechanism that goes behind the wall. You need to buy that separately. That wasn't an issue for me because I was replacing my old one, so the old recessed wall clamp was already there. I can't say it was super-easy to install, because it was so darn hard to line up the screws to the recessed wall clamp. But I did eventually get it to work. Took me double the time I expected. In the end though, it's really lovely and has held up well. It's been 6 months and counting.I always read reviews before purchasing, and find some quite helpful, so I hope you find this review helpful!

Yes, I know it's just a toilet paper holder...but it's a VERY NICE toilet paper holder!
Tired of the cheap low quality toilet paper holder that probably came with your home? Then, give the Franklin Brass 9097SN Recessed Toilet Paper Holder a try. You won't be disappointed! It's a beauty! I do recommend that you have some handyman skills or know someone that does, as this is a "recessed" fixture that does involve you cutting a square piece of your sheetrock out of your wall (not for the faint of heart or for those who rely on blind luck or guessing where the studs are behind the wall)! Here are a few tips:1) Use the following items - stud finder, a level, a tape measure, and a good sharp cutter.2) Use the following accessory - Franklin Brass 600R Mounting Bracket for Recessed Paper Holders (http://www.amazon.com/Franklin-Brass-600R-Mounting-Recessed/dp/B0012QKOK2) for installation if you are not going to try to screw this thing to wall studs.3) Cut a LEVEL square hole into the wall where you want the fixture to go. The exact measurements are 4 and 7/8 inches horizontal and 4 and 7/8 inches vertical for the part of the fixture that will be recessed into the wall. This is a perfect snug fit. If you want a little room for movement or play, then cut a 5 inch by 5 inch square hole. The actual lip/frame on the outside/front is another 7/8 inch on all sides. Please take that into account when you decide the height of your placement of the toilet paper holder as the frame will be 7/8 inch higher than where your hole is cut.4) Attach the Franklin Brass 600R Mounting Bracket onto the Franklin Brass 9097SN Recessed Paper Holder with the two screws (but loosely) and then simply slip the whole thing into the hole on your wall. Wiggle it just a bit until the mounting bracket lip is above and below the sheetrock hole and then simply tighten the two screws until the fixture is tight and snug on the wall! That's it! Now you can fit those giant rolls of toilet paper on your holder and the whole thing looks beautiful and takes up less room on your wall to boot! I LOVE IT! I replaced all my cheap holders with this SOLID and beautiful combo set!
