Fixed the Problem
2018 Jeep Wrangler. Sun visors were falling out at the hinge point. Found these among lots of others. Chose them because they were metal (I think many of the others were plastic). Installation instructions are a little confusing but if you look at the pieces and consider how the sun visors move, you can see how to properly position them. After that, installation was quick. Looks great, solves an annoying problem, and I am confident that they will last a long time. Highly recommend!

Money Saver!!!
I loved this!!! To fix my passenger sun visor at the dealership would have been $200. These brackets saved me a lot of money and they were super easy to install!! If you have a jeep these brackets are 100% a necessity to fix/prevent a broken sun visor

Quick fix
Odd there’s a thinner end but not a right and a left clip so I had no idea which way they went on but they work fine. Didn’t seem to matter which way they were installed. Pretty neat little repair for a horrible design flaw by Jeep. Came with the 2 screwdrivers needed and you really don’t notice this is simply a patch to hold in a defective part by Jeep. Sad when something is built so poorly and breaks so often entrepreneurs invent something to rig it.

Easy and sturdy fix.
First off, I find it kind of hilarious that these are needed (come on Jeep!), but these clips really do the trick and sure beat having new visors installed just to have the cheap plastic internals break again...and again...and again. I had one visor completely loose and that was a bit harder to install because it was flopping around on me, but on the passenger side (not yet fully broken) was incredibly easy. Neither was too terrible. Its about a 10 minute/1 person job.

Works well
Good solution for the poorly designed sunvisor mounting in my JLU. I will probably get a pair for my wife's sahara as preventative maintenance.

Should Have Mirror-Image Pieces
Ordered this kit based on things I had been reading indicating it wasn't a "if" the sun visors in my new Gladiator would break, but a "when". I thought I'd add the supports before anything broke rather than trying to fix it afterward. The kit is simple enough. It has instructions that aren't that great. It's not difficult but you do need to pay attention. There was one somewhat confusing aspect to this kit, although I guess it doesn't really change its effectiveness. The brackets are exactly the same - they are not a mirror image of each other, meaning there is no left or right side. I only mention it because there is a small relief in one side for the sun visor to pass over the bracket. Since both visors have their supports toward the door, as opposed to toward the vehicle center, each bracket has to be installed so that the relief (indentation) is toward the vehicle center. That way, as the visor is moved from the stowed position parallel to the windshield to the deployed position parallel to the door window, the visor can easily pass over the bracket. There is a cutout in the bracket that wraps around the visor support. Because the brackets are exactly the same, the cutout on the driver side has to be open toward the vehicle front in order for the indentation to be toward the vehicle center. On the passenger side, the cutout must face rearward in order for the indentation to be toward the vehicle center. If they had manufactured a mirrored pair, there would be a right and left pair and they would be installed the same. It doesn't bother me but you do need to pay attention to how you orient each bracket. If you have OCD this will probably bug the crap out of you.The instructions said nothing about this. The instructions also did not point out that each bracket had a front and a back. The back is flat, whereas the front has countersinks for the screws and the relief indentation for the visor support. I had to look carefully at the brackets and determine which was the front and back, and how to orient them differently for the driver and passenger sides. Make sure you pay attention.

Very good product
Very good product. This product fixed Jeep’s amazing disregard to quality.Do yourself a favour and remove and replace one screw at a time and the visor mount will not fall or be difficult to hold while you place the new brackets. Done this way you’ll be finished in 15 minutes to do both sides. Best money I’ve spent on an after market product.
