Large enough to clean glasses, similar items
Overall I am satisfied with this ultrasonic cleaner. I purchased this to clean a few odd items that are a pain otherwise. These include my glasses that have a monofilament wire to hold the lens in place, some airbrush guns, pocket knives and coffee machine parts. The good parts: It works well on my glasses, particularly to clean up this gunk that builds up between the frame and the lens. On the pocket knives, it seems to magically remove all the lint and other detritus that builds up in the recesses that are difficult to remove without pulling down the knife. This was the same story with a pod coffee machine cup that after a while was clogged up with coffee, and for a frothing nozzle (soak in hot water first). The airbrush nozzle wasn't quite so magical. It did remove some of the paint, but I ended up soaking it in paint stripper and hitting with a wire brush before it was cleaned to my satisfaction. My only complaint is that the reservoir is not removable. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to be able to put it in the wash or sink for cleaning.

Best personal ultrasonic clener
I bought it for clean gun parts. With it, I just need put parts into the ultrasonic cleaner with gun clean oil then press a switch. The machine will clean all in about 30 seconds.1. Good design and quality.2. Quite3. Compact size, very easy to store.4. Good cover lid, can remain cleaning oil in container without the funny smell.I wish it has bigger model to clean bigger parts.

It suits my needs
This wasn't bought for the advertised applications. I'm involved in graphic arts and and often use 'old fashioned' ink pens. The pens work beautifully when they're kept clean. Occasionally, though, the ink hardens up and the pen can be the devil to get to work properly. When the Uten arrived, I mixed a little Koh-I-Noor pen cleaner and water in the tub and put a dirty nib in it. When I turned the thing on, clouds of old ink seeped out of the point. I'm pretty impressed. It's about the size and shape of a brick - which plays to my ideas around professionalism. It fits neatly in corners with little of the wasted space I've found in the design of other ultrasonic cleaners. Here are the quibbles: it has a programmed run time of 5 minutes. I'd prefer that to be longer (it's So Much Trouble to tap that start button one or two more times). That and maybe a removable basket would be nice because the ink tends to make some pretty murky water. Again, for the purpose I bought it, it performs surprisingly well!

Great ultrasonic cleaner for glasses but be careful
Used it for cleaning glasses. There must not be any defect scratch in the lens/body coating or else you will regret it! I tried cleaning older glasses that I haven't used. It destroyed (chipped) the lens where the coating had already wore off. I suggest doing deep cleaning on a non-frequent basis or get a lower frequency cleaner. Most are around 30-40kHz. This one is 50 kHz and will get into smaller crevices and cause damage if there is a scratch.

Loving it so far!
Very quiet when switched on, fortunately there are visible ripples marking nodes so it is obviously working, seems to take off all the grunge, at least there was lots of dirt on the bottom of the tank. The unit feels sturdy and certainly gives the impression of being well made. It has an attractive matte black finish which would not be out of place anywhere inside the house, and looks a bit too fancy to place in my workshop.I will report any problems if and when they occur.Oh, by the way! l used plain tap water for my only test so far.

Works great on eyeglasses!
I used the Uten Ultrasonic Cleaner for cleaning eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses and worked great! The only problem I had was cleaning my parents sunglasses that went there regular eyeglasses. These were to big and stuck out of water about a third of the way. So for big oversized glasses the product is not deep enough but otherwise really works great with a drop of dish detergent or the special cleaner you can buy. I would buy it again but might look for a deeper tank to fit oversized glasses.

Underwhelming
I bought this primarily to clear airbrush parts and, even with the tank full of solvent, it doesn't do any better of a job removing paint and varnishes than I could washing it by hand. In fact, it's actually worse. It might be perfectly fine for jewelry or glasses, I haven't tried anything like that in it yet. But it sucks for getting paint off metals.

Doesn't remove carbon
Like a bunch of people, I picked this up to clean gun parts, specifically BCGs and suppressor baffles. With not that much carbon build up, after going through 30 mins total of running the thing (annoying as hell with a 3 minute time) the parts were not notably cleaner in general, and the only carbon that had come off was that which was already flaking off before the parts went in. Unfortunately it's just not capable of cleaning parts quickly, and since it's locked at 3 minutes, you can't start it and walk away. Going to have to recommend people pass on this one, and I'll be returning it tomorrow.
