Very easy conversion kit. Everything that was needed was included. No issues whatsoever. Love that it has its own on/off switch to use only when needed.

Had this water heater conversion in and turned on for a few months now with no issues. It’s nice to be able to use hot water whenever you feel like it and really helps do dishes. Takes around 1.5 hours to heat the water back up if you use it all in the shower but if you time things right you probably won’t run out.

The best thing about this product is the water gets very hot. I thought maybe it wouldn't be as effective as a factory, electric water heater, but it certainly is very effective. The instructions weren't very detailed, but there are videos on YouTube that help. You do not need to be an electrician to install this. I was able to plug mine into an existing 120 outlet, that only had the refrigerator on the circuit, so it doesn't kick the breaker. If your RV doesn't have a useable outlet, you may have to install one, which if you're not an electrician, you may want to hire a professional for. However this kit does NOT include materials for that.You install the heating element where the anode rod goes; so no more anode rod. I had one problem with this, which is why I gave it 4 stars, not 5. I had to tighten the heating element way harder than should have been necessary and still had a drop of water come out about every 5 minutes. I tightened it to the point I was worried it might break, but it's held and ignored the occasional drop. So maybe the specs aren't as exact as they should be? IDK, it is made in China and their spec standards might not be as good as in the US. But overall it is working well and wasn't too difficult to install.

Great price. Love this water heater. It was very easy to install and heats quickly. It has been working for almost a year now. It fits in the small cabinet, saving me space, and the design is sleek and modern. My family 100% recommend this one.

I hooked mine up in the drain plug. I have a six gallon heater. Took me a bit trying to figure out how to hook up the thermostat without the toggle switch. Anyway living in my 5th wheel in CA and enjoying hot showers. I plan on adding another six gallon point of use from LG to use to double my capacity. Also I hope my rv tank holds up to the hot rod. I may end up trying to rely mainly on the new one. 0 c

I like this kit, very affordable and easy to install all things given.I did need to tap into one of the circuits and add a gfci outlet under my cabinet, I ended up using my microwave circuit as it doesn't get much use. The only other part that required some thought was drilling a hole from outside to get inside.Some criticism, it would be nice to not have the wire permanently attached to the heating element. When draining the hot water heater or replacing an anode, you end up twisting the wires a very large amount which is no good. Also one of the crimps was weak but that was an easy fix.Overall, I would do it again. No more turning propane on to heat up the water a few minutes before needing it, we just flip it on when we get to our destination and have hot water the entire trip without thinking about it. Doing dishes and taking showers is a lot closer to being like at home now!

Heats plenty fast and plenty hot.Everything I needed to install, except electrical.

I love this in my camper. Saves spending money on propane. Works great.

No matter how much teflon you use element leaks and yes im installing correctly. Wiring lengths dont make sense and turns out messy unless you cut and extend some to tidy everything up
