I had high hopes for this translator after reading other’s reviews. My husband used it to help communicat with our neighbor that speaks Mongolia and while we traveled trans Atlantic from Spain to US. Too often the translations were incorrect and even had vulgar language. Unfortunately when we got back from our trip it was a few days past the return window (no service for 8 days on the ocean). So just out the money.Updated: The company contacted me even though it was past the return window and resolved the issue with 100% satisfaction. This company stands behind its products. A+

Purchased this for a work place setting, to use offline without wifi. Limited language sets to use offline. Accuracy of translation from English to Spanish not good. Setup is very difficult, with teeny virtual keyboard. Google translate on a phone is much better.

seem to have trouble getting internet outside the country

Battery won’t hold a charge. I’m currently carrying a back up supply. I think the translation works decently. I’m looking forward to trying the photo feature. Sending back, hopefully I can try one with s a decent battery

I'm amazed that it has so many languages available for translation even though we've only used a few of them. It's super portable and would be great for a serious traveler or even someone who likes to watch foreign films or listen to media/news in different languages to get a better grasp on conversational style.

I have to add that this contributed to my opinion that the value of their product is also backed by responsive customer service. And that, in my opinion, adds to their value as an Amazon vendor.Firstly, we are a multi-lingual family. And I have always marveled at the barriers positively broken by being able to speak another’s language. I’ve always considered it a level of respect. So with this translator, while I can’t take credit for breaking the language barrier on my own, I can certainly communicate with so many more people now, and more easily with this translator.As I shared in my video, the three most impressive features are, multiple languages, accuracy of the translations and certainly the near real-time speed of the translations. With family and friends that speak nearly all the major world languages, right after getting this unpacked, I was able to try out the translator in Chinese, German, Dutch, Portuguese and Greek. And then there are our neighbors who speak Tagalog-Filipino and Polish. Everyone who helped me try out the translator was impressed. And most asked where it was available.This is one of the first language translators that clearly and effectively answers the question of, “Why not just use one of the free online language translators?” The answer is at the beginning of my review; multiple language capable, accuracy and speed. My only added comments would be, there's ‘no carrying case’ which I believe is necessary given the danger of dropping and damaging. And the other is a recommendation to look on the Anfier store page and check out the new 2022 version of this translator for about ten dollars more. And even with that I feel this model is still a 5-star marvel.
