Great pictures. Just enough verbiage.
My 3 year old loves it! The pictures are great. Granted we had to explain stealing is wrong since Jack steals from the giant but other than that it's a good book.

Don’t forget to read fairy tales!
This is an awesome version of a favorite fairy tale. The language is perfect for our 3 1/2 yr old. Love the illustrations. Bought several more Noisy Crow books.

Climbing to the Top and Back Down Again
This version of JACK AND THE BEANSTALK from Nosy Crow has most of the elements of the original story, but with some modern sensibilities. In this version, Jack isn't either the simpleton or thief that is often the case in the story. He does sell the family cow for means, but once he gets to the giant's castle, it becomes clear that Jack is a helpful person and helps out the various people he meets. I really enjoy the illustrations by Ed Bryan. They accompany the text perfectly.

Jack and the beanstalk
Very fun book... my grandson planted some beans... and it is growing into a beanstalk.
