CATEYE Omni 3 Bike Safety Light

Being safe is very important to me so I decided to try the CAT EYE Omni 3 LED safety light for my bicycle. Before I purchased this product, I searched for video and photo reviews and it seemed like the perfect accessory for my bike. After I received it, I was very happy with the results. The brightness is amazing! This light is so intense and I love how it contains three light blinking options. You will definitely get noticed! I feel much safer while riding at night and like how I’m not as invisible as the past. I own another bicycle light from a different brand and it’s not nearly as bright or intense as the CAT EYE Omni three.

Super bright, sturdy, easy to install and stays secure. Used on slow blink, I have yet to need changing the batteries. You can also unclip it from the mount and hang it on a vest for running. People who say the mounting is poor or it won't turn on are probably morons who can't figure out simple electronics or simple mechanical fasteners. The light turns on by pressing and holding the switch like many of today's electronics do and the mount easily attached to anything cylindrical. You just have to be sure the light is properly locked onto the mounting bracket with an audible "click" I have the red one mounted to my rear trunk bracket, debunking the dufus who says you can't mount it to anything that holds baskets or cargo.

Great light, especially for the price. It's bright and I feel more comfortable using it on the road especially on roads with really shady areas and dusk where driver visibility can be impaired. I've used it at night on a short ride, and it's super visible then. I have it mounted to my seatpost, and it seems secure enough and is easily removed or repositioned with the thumb screw release. The 3 flashing modes are ample... I like the random flicker as it seems like it's get someones attention a little better than the steady flashing and constant-on... and the battery lasts longer that way too. A bonus.

I'm a bike commuter, I've been putting this through the paces for about a month and it has held up great. I've been through snow, sleet and rain and it's been dead reliable which is the most important thing. I'm using it as a second/backup light, it's mounted to my rear rack with the dedicated rack mount (sold separately) and it's very secure. Pot holes and riding small sections of dirt path have been no problem. Dropping one star because while the brightness is good, it's not as bright as some other options (i.e. Cygolite Hotshot), so I don't think I'd consider it for daylight visibility. It also uses 2 x AAA instead of USB rechargeable, but I knew that going in. Overall it's been a solid light and an excellent bang for the buck.

I was really disappointed, I ordered a unit back in 2017 that worked great. It recently broke because of battery leakage (my fault). I wanted to replace it so I wouldn't have to use a new mount on my bike. They have some serious quality control issues going on right now as my first ordered light didn't work as well as the replacement. I'm going to have to get another brand as a replacement, which is a shame, I really liked this light.

I am very happy with this light! For the price, it is amazing. It installed easily and securely on my mountain bike. Now, I am not easy on my bike and I take it on some pretty rough trails. Other lights I have had have broken into a thousand piece, or the circuit board disconnect in some way, rendering the light useless. So far, I have not had a single problem with this. Oh, it is also very bright!!

We bought this rear safety light on the recommendation of a bike touring company that does multi-day cycle outings. It was really easy to attach to the back of the bike and has multiple settings for the light (i.e., always on, flashing quick and flashing slow). I use the light at both dawn and dusk as well as dark. The light is bright and can be seen from quite a distance and is far more noticeable than simply having a reflector.

I tend to lose them during commute, while loading up on my car, etc, so I decided not to spend too much money on lights especially on rear. Here are what I like: - This light is very inexpensive, but bright. The back plastic piece is also red transparent (not black), so the light will shine further in all direction. - Hard push to turn on/off. - Unlike other cheapo lights, I don't have to cycle through all light configuration to turn it off, but with one hard push. - The attachment hook lets it hang horizontally or vertically on a strap of saddle bag.

Pratiquant le vélo tous les jours, j'avais besoin d'un éclairage supplémentaire à fixer sur le siège enfant de mon fils. Le produit est livré dans une boîte. Il comprend le feu, le système de fixation CatEye, une pince pour accrocher aux vêtements, un jeu de piles une entretoise et une notice. Le feu et le système de fixation semblent en plastique de qualité. Le montage est très simple, il suffit de clipser le mode de fixation choisi (la pince en ce qui me concerne). L'insertion des piles est aisé, il suffit d'ouvrir le boîtier et de le refermer. On découvre à l'ouverture un joint qui assure l'étanchéité. Le feu s'allume grâce à un bouton sur lequel il faut exercer un appui long. Trois modes d'éclairage sont disponibles : un continu et deux clignotants. L' éclairage rouge est vraiment puissant et visible à 180 degrés, je suis vraiment séduit par ce produit. Soy ciclista desde los inicios de los '90 y Cateye siempre ha sido una marca de referencia en cuenta kilómetros. Hoy en día, viendo este producto, puedo decir que siguen al pie del cañón en calidad. Estuve mirando luces en varias plataformas on line y finalmente encontré esta. Vi los comentarios de los compañeros anteriores y me decidí. Características: Luz 360º: básicamente significa que la parte de atrás de la luz también es transparente, con lo que desde delante, en plena noche, se te verá. 3 leds potentes. 3 modos. Rápido, flash y fijo. Si hemos utilizado, por ejemplo, el flash y lo apagamos... tiene hasta memoria, y al encenderlo se queda en el modo en el que lo habías dejado. El soporte de la tija esta increíblemente bien pensado. Robusto, fiable y rápido de montar, no tiene misterio alguno. Es water resistant. Si llueve dudo que se estropeé, lleva un anillo alrededor de plástico entre las dos piezas de la luz par evitar que entré el agua. Chapeau. Trae además para ponerlo en clip en la ropa, por si vamos a correr o a andar. Me he explayado en la revisión porque me ha sorprendido que algo tan pequeño esté tan bien pensado. Lo recomiendo ! En las fotos podéis ver la caja, el botón para encender (tipo caucho), el interior del aparato, el anclaje y la luz que ofrece.

After many misses, I have stuck with this one for over a year now. Haven’t changed the battery since I bought. I ride 3 times a week, mostly in the evenings and must have used the rear light on blink mode for more than 200 hrs. It is the best, both robust and durable.
