When this arrived I thought "this is too small for our big tom cat". I take care of a feral and let him sleep in the garage during cold weather. He doesn't like being inside the house much as it seems to make him nervous. The very next morning when I opened the door, here he came out of this little hut, looking happy as can be.

I bought 3 of these a year ago. After the first one arrived, my 3 cats were fighting for it, so I bought a couple more so they each had one. For weeks I would find them nestled up in their “kitty houses” on a daily basis. After several weeks they all stopped using them. I couldn’t figure out why. Then I realized that they were getting ambushed by the other cats while napping. This meaning my cats thought it was funny to pounce on the top of the house while the other was sound asleep. A funny game to only the attacker. After being ambushed so many times they all gave up on these. It was a shame, I thought, because they are soft, easy to wash (throw it all in the washing machine) and they had adored them so much. A couple months ago we took in a family members cat, making our total 4. I was determined to reintroduce these, threw them all in the washer and set them out again. The new cat loved it, but again the ambushing game came into play. I thought “Great, there goes that idea!”. Until!!!! Something happened. One of our cats sat right on top of the house, squishing it down and using it as a bed. Within a week all of them had been squished down and used the same way. 2 months later they are in daily use as cat beds. Soo...if your cat(s) give up on these awesome houses...maybe try another way. My boy Charlie loves this!!! When I first unboxed it I was a little worried about if he'd fit (hes a bit of a larger cat) but he fit perfect and loves having a little hiding space to sleep in. Also the color is nice and subtle so it looks good in my living room. The material is very soft and though it is flexible it has enough structure to where it doesnt collapse on itself easy. Great purchase!

Ok, I read all the other reviews. I honestly thought that maybe these "other" people had freakishly large cats. My female cat is pretty dainty and like 8 lbs after she's eaten. She's not even like a big fluffy cat either. Well I got this in a small box and I thought hmmm... I took it out of the package and I popped it up and WHOA. I don't think her HEAD would of fit through the hole. Ok that's an exaggeration, it would of fit, but the rest of her body would not of had a chance. Then if she got her head in there, how was she supposed to contort herself in there to FIT? like even curled up in a ball she's still larger than the base of this bed. I did read the reviews previously but I thought my cat would still fit in it. Nope. Kitten bed or even FERRET bed would be more fitting for the description because I popped it back down, stuffed it back in the bag and sent it back. Wish it was like double the size and then it would of been "cat bed" size but the size it was just said, no way.

Bought this for my kitty that was under the weather and she got right in it as soon as it arrived. It was a warm, soft place for her to hide. She has since passed away but her son, who was much bigger than her had claimed it as his own. (I assume because he missed her and it has her scent) He sleeps on top of it since he's too big to get in. It vacuums well. There aren't any snags in it from their claws. I haven't washed it yet since he's still mourning and adapting to this major change in his life. When I run it through the wash I will update. All in all its a good bed for the price. It's nice that it folds down into a normal bed so the little furballs can have some variety. I'd definitely recommend to others to purchase.

Got this for my front porch, there's a stray cat that I take care of. He loves this bed! In fact, he had squatters come in, i've seen another cat sleeping in it. I put a heating pad in it for very cold nights. But it is self warming and I can wash the inner pad

Does your cat need a soft safe place to use his/her tablet? I highly recommend this cozy little yurt for kitty comfort. My cat Dante loves his little warming hut so much we named it his In-fur-no. Great for jumping in and rolling around so you've trapped yourself entrance down on the floor and no one can see you. Also amazing for running in to and sliding across the floor or off the couch. Not so easy to clean bc cat hair is like covered with glue the second it comes off of their body but that's not the sellers fault. My cat gives it 4 toe beans up!

We adopted a cat who lived in the shelter so long she became very reclusive. Finally we had to bring a cat enclosure into the living room for her to get used to us and we used this cat (tent as we call it) to give her a safe hideaway. She took to it right away! Enclosed enough for her to feel secure and gradually get used to us. She has sense broken out of her shell but still loves her Kitty tent when things get overwhelming. She's a smaller cat but seems to have a good amount of room in there.

I've bought my cat a few beds over the years, they seem to be a novelty for a few days then never used. He likes sleeping in cupboards and under beds...so bought him this. Great price and he loves it...I would definitely try it if your cats the same and I'd buy another.

My little old cat loves this. She is 16 and always trying to find a place to keep warm. She can spend pretty much most of her time here sine she got it.

When I picked my cats up from the rescue they both were hiding in an 'igloo' similar to this one. I bought 2 so they would feel at home. six months later this one is still used nightly and the more expensive one is ignored. Typical cat behavior.

the kittens spend more time playing on this than resting inside of it. The dome collapses without any effort. Disappointing but as they are willing to sleep on it I suppose it is of some use.

Bought this for my kittens, it needed to be washed and it lost its sturdiness and the tiny blanket basically lost shape. Would not recommend
