Cuts hard wire
Appear to be well-made and the jaws are hardened enough to cut piano wire.

Mostly use for wire cutting in my French beading. Also floral wire.

Works great on my toenails but it's really hard to get those tricky spots on my fingers.

Sturdy and well made.
I received my Southwest cutting pliers and compared them to my Tekton cutting pliers. The Southwest felt better in my hand, opening and closing with one hand was silky smooth. The cutters matched perfectly with a tight fit letting almost no light through as I shined my flashlight behind the cutters. My Tekton cutting pliers are well made but they can’t match the fit and smooth operation of the Southwest cutting pliers.

Cutting efficiency best one so far.
Dislikes its weight due to its beefy handles. Heavier than the other brands that have just a dip cover handle. It does however cut easier than the other ones that are same length. Better than my Dewalt, Stanley, Irvin, Harbor Freight, Milwaukee (coworkers), Knipex (other coworker). Nice sharp jawz, says its harden so well see how sharp they stay. Nice tight joints and clean cut.

Like them better than my Klein
Use these side cutters all day at work and have been for several years now. I like them better than my Klein. Good cutters.

Good quality and very useful
These are very well made side cutters and I love the offset jaws, great for extra leverage. They also cut wire very well. The handles are very comfortable and they are a nice larger size. Great purchase
