Great for Mead
Had the first shipment replaced as the plastic cylinder arrived cracked, but it arrived fast and works perfectly and accurately as intended. Easy to read. New to mead making, and I'm learning fast!

Great product if you know what it is!
Amazing hydrometer for a great price, and glad to be supporting Canadian. Yes, it's fragile, but it needs specific buoyancy, so be careful with delecate thing. Also, to people saying it's reading wine at 0 abv, it doesn't read abv, it reads potential abv. You are testing dry wine. Test before fermenting, then after. Subtract final potential from orginal to calculate current abv.

Be aware the photo shows 2 units though only received 1. Do like the the tub is plastic, and the hydrometer comes in a plastic case to protect it while storing it..
