Great Overall: From the Install to the Quality
Install was super easy (30 seconds). The prep is actually where the work lies. You have to install a fence pole in the ground (18-24 inches) and cement it down. The material is a hard vinyl/plastic, but looks ornate. I'd recommend these to everyone.

Unbelievable Product
Was really skeptical on ordering due to some of the reviews. WOW!!!! We already had the metal post and light . This was the easiest install and the product quality was perfect. Our house typically we do everything wood or Azec but when I saw this it seamed like simple solution and it was . Top 10 after work install ever!! Thanks

Thin plastic
This is manufactured from very cheap thin plastic. Not a heavy vinyl as i thought it would be

Black yard lamp post
Post for my yard light. Easy enough to install. I used PVC pipe that slipped over my existing post to raise it another 2 feet. The height is awesome lights my yard great. It is vinyl but looks cast aluminum. Won’t rust in So Florida as aluminum does to some extent. Lot’s of compliments about. Best looking lamp post in the area. Very happy with it had to cut top and bottom enough to slide my PVC through it top to bottom. Withstood 2 hurricanes so far.👍

Yeah, it's plastic
A lot of disappointment on the look of this. It is difficult to order something before seeing it and meet everyone's expectations. I was fortunate enough to have already purchased a Mayne mailbox post and get an idea of what I was purchasing. What we want to buy is a piece with all the detail of a custom-made wood product. In my mind that is a little unrealistic for the price and the state of technology of molded plastic at this time.This product makes it extremely easy to cover an aging, unsightly light post. From a distance it looks fine. It is when you walk up to the product you detect the molded plastic look. Personally, I am OK with it. For the price I could not have built one by hand out of wood and painted it. Painting that would have to be repeated year after year.
