The best decaf tea in my opinion
My mom got me started on drinking this stuff because she was born and raised in the south and her family has always drank iced sweet tea all day long. But she found out later in life that she's sensitive to caffeine so she had to switch to decaf. Then I became sensitive to caffeine at around the time I turned 32, and have had to really limit the tea and coffee I drink and switch up to herbal stuff. When I went to visit her recently and she made me some of this tea with a bit of fresh squeezed lemon and stevia drops, I thought it was caffeinated tea because it's so flavorful and delicious, but she told me it was this decaf tea!I do notice that when I drink several large glasses of this I get quite energetic and I can feel the caffeine humming through my system, but, maybe because it is such a small amount, it feels different than when I have normally caffeinated tea...it is more of a feeling of having lots of motivation and energy rather than having a jittery/jumpy anxious nervousness that fully caffeinated drinks seem to give me now. It's weird because I used to be someone who could drink like 2 pots of coffee or 2-3 mochas, or like 30 oz. of red bull a day and that was just normal to me and helped me feel like I could take on the day. But now, this tea is the level of caffeine that makes me feel that way - or actually probably even more energized than I used to feel drinking all of that crap.I also highly recommend drinking this on ice with lemon and stevia drops (or stevia powder/leaves dissolved into the hot tea before pouring over ice. Stevia is amazing if you have it with something tart like lemon, and that combination is dynamite! We usually put two tea bags in a largish 4 pint teapot, or 1 teabag in my smaller 2 pint teapot when we brew the tea, and it tastes very flavorful without having a tannin bite like fully caffeinated black tea would. It has a super smooth flavor.

best decaf brand for making HOT TEA with milk
This is the best decaf brand I've found so far for making HOT tea with milk (which I sometimes make into chai**). I've had to give up caffeine so have tried a lot of decaf brands but stopped when I tasted this one.I buy the large size bags to save money, then cut some of them open and pour the loose leaves into a small mason jar along with a 1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon to store in the cupboard. That way I can make one cup at a time and remember I'll always use a heaping half-teaspoon. Since I usually have my tea with milk, I'll make the tea strong (heaping-1/2-t, in 6 oz of very hot water, steeped for almost 5 minutes) before adding the sugar and full-fat milk, then I'll reheat all in the microwave. That's the best-tasting combination I've come up with for fullest flavor using a decaf tea and also adding milk.I've also found the "brewing basket" by Finum (a cylindrical mesh basket which holds the leaves and fits down into a single mug or teapot while steeping) to be the easiest to use and also to clean. And the "large" basket size allows the leaves to release the most flavor. Got that at amazon too--the "large" size works for just about anything.***** To make chai from black tea, I mix ground cinnamon and coriander (sometimes also cloves and/or ginger) into the hot tea, or just Pumpkin Pie Spice. Really tasty.*** http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000J3JFJU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

OLD FASHIONED SOUTHERN SWEET ICE TEA!!
I'm from the South so I REALLY know what good tea should taste like. I buy Luzianne from Amazon because i live in Maryland and cannot find ii in all stores. To make it even more perfect I bought a Mr. Coffee iced tea maker from Amazon. I don't think I could have found this model, Tea Cafe', in a store. It's stylishly black so it's attractive enough to leave out on the counter. It has a GLASS pitcher which is nice if you are entertaining, or just for every day use. It's very easy to use. I also bought an acrylic pitcher as a back up, and for extra tea if needed in quantity. However, for making tea I use ONLY the glass pitcher, For real Southern sweet tea, put one cup of sugar in a two cup glass measuring cup (less if you don't like it really sweet) and add water to about the 1 3/4 cup line. Put in microwave oven for about 3 min. or until it comes to a boil. Stir until the sugar is all dissolved. Let it sit for a little while, and then add to the fresh brewed iced tea. Even though you are using a glass pitcher while it is still full of ice cubes, it won't break the glass, at least it hasn't happened to me during dozens of uses. This method of dissolving sugar is called simple sugar. Stir well and enjoy!
