What can I say about Robocop that already hasn't? It's the definition of the perfect film for me. Brilliant violent 80's action that cannot be replicated in today's world. A bad guy (Clarence Boddicker) so well acted by Kurtwood Smith you will never forget it. Robocop acted flawlessly by Peter Weller in my opinion was born to play that role. The beautiful Nancy Allen playing Murphys partner, Lewis. Is the heart and soul of the film. Beautiful direction and a 10/10 soundtrack that will play in your head for days after it's so iconic. Surprisingly some very emotional scenes throughout that caught me off gaurd. It's a hard 10/10 film for me. A must watch.

One of my favourites, had to own it on 4k. They don't make them like this anymore.

First of all, I tried to get a copy of the criterion edition of this film but as it seems to have been deleted, I settled for the BFI edition from arrow films as they are good quality with a 4k restoration and on blu-ray was the next best thing, many thanks and look forward to watching it.

Great transfer,lots of extrasCop Murphy on his first day at his new station after a requested transfer is shot and is nearly brain dead and is at the The mercy of OCP(who want to build a new city called new Detroit And control the police ,who are in the verge of a strike)And is turned into a cyborg who is put back into the police force unfortunately his humanity started to 're surface and wants to go after his murderers,who are protected by the most senior OCP vice President, who hampers Murphy, through his programming

I was very sceptical about buying this after reading some reviews saying the picture was terrible as i already had it on blu ray. But thought ide give it a go and I have to say I’m very glad I did because there is absolutely nothing wrong with this picture it’s THE BIZZO. if you like robocop and you must do to be reading this review just get it bought you won’t be sorry. So as robocop would say. It’s your move creep 😂Cheers 🍺 amazon

Film absolut gut, aber Bild ist krisselig kein deutscher Ton !

Décidément, une oeuvre de Verhoeven qui n'a pas droit aux égards qu'elle mérite. Non seulement, elle est la seule édition 4k disponible mais elle ne dispose ni de V.F ni sous titre non plus !.. Ce film fait partie de ceux fait avec des bouts de ficelles. Du coup, le revoir aujourd'hui fait que le tout a beaucoup vieilli. Bien sûr l'intérêt est ailleurs ; dans la narration et l'humour si particulier de P. Verhoeven. Une ambiance proche de celle que l'on retrouvera plus tard dans son oeuvre ; dans Starship Troopers. La remasterisation sur le plan image n'est que trés moyenne mais je ne parle pas du son qui est cheep. La présence d'une piste Dolby Atmos n'a aucun intérêt.
