Porsche Boxster and Cayman: The 981 series 2012 to 2016

Excellent book, great photographs and interesting reading.

This is a readable, well illustrated history -- a must for any serious automotive library, as are Brian Long's other Porsche books.

Book was not cheap (about $60) and it was shipped in a thin plastic shipping bag rather than a box. As a result, the corners are chewed up, and the hardcover dented everywhere. Because it's for me, I'm keeping it, but I could never give it to someone as a gift due to condition. Should have been shipped in a cardboard box. I've ordered other books and that is how it's done when done correctly. Definitely doesn't appear new condition when it's so dented. Content of book is interesting. Maybe buy from a different seller.

Was hoping there would be greater in-depth technical discussion of the 981 series. There is some, but not to the extent hoped for.Otherwise a nice collection of pictures, broader history related to marketing and sales, and specifications and options.
