Presto Pressure Cooker/Canner Overpressure Plug (9915)

Needed a replacement part on a old 23 qt. presto pc, it fits perfectly

It is exactly what I was looking for. After we lost that rubber thing after wash we thought we's just buy another pressure cooker. I'd took my time to look on amazon and voila there it is. Price of this little tiny thing shouldn't be this high but it works better than buying a new cooker.

I went to a friend's house and made some dishes. Not sure what happened and the one of the friend's pressure cooker plugs went missing. Did some research online and decided to get this one. It works for her. She then asked me to get extra ones for backup. :)

my old replacement plug fit snugly but I guess too snug is no good either. It caused air to leak out and I needed to use a butter knife to "help" it pop up and seat fully. So I ordered this. This was the opposite and sat loosely. I guess that is good? I honestly don't recall my original being this loose. Either way it seemed to do the trick but we'll have to see how long it lasts. I will update if it has issues.

I bought a high pressure cooker from Belk two years ago. It's not brand name cooker. Couple months ago, the plug was broken. I am glad to find this one to make up the missing plug.At beginning, from the image, I won't be able to tell the size of the plug. However, when I got it and pushed it to my cooker, the size is great.Now, my cooker is back to use. I am glad with the purchase.

I almost tossed my Rival/Presto pressure cooker when this little rubber thingy-bobber disappeared. (Side note: when your adult son visits and helps out with the dishes, stuff is going to go missing. And when you try to describe a tiny 1/2-inch rubber thingy over the phone, the importance of it to the operation of the home, society and the greater good, and ask what might have happened to it--you're going to sound a little crazy. Inflammatory phrases like "no big deal," "it didn't seem important" and "go have a glass of wine" are going to be dangerously bandied around.) On a whim I tried to find one, not knowing what the heck it was called, and of course, my dearest love (don't judge me) Amazon said "here you go, we've got you." And now I know it's called an Overpressure Plug.

When I accidently threw out the old one along with the cabbage water I was at a loss. This little dandy has put me back in the business of pressure cooking. A very reasonable price compared with the Presto replacement site and I didn't have to weed through cabbage mess !
