This can is a total of 13 gallons, not each side. If you want to change the trash bags twice a day go for it. Not what I was hoping for. Maybe if you live alone.

Totally my fault but I ordered this in my search for “hands free”. It falls under hands free but only because there is no lid. Sort of misleading as hands free in home trash usually means it has a way to open the lid without touching the can. I know I should had read this description fully but in a rush I just thought it looked nice. This is more for maybe a business or store that’s just throwing trash not food. The size is perfect so I’m still considering rather I’ll keep it but it just feels not right for a kitchen not to have a lid.
