T-REIGN Large Carabiner Retractable Gear Tether with Kevlar Cable, Universal End Fitting and Glass Reinforced Impact Resistant ABS Housing

I have only had this for 2 months but have been using it for just a little over a month. It is really strong but the wire that connects to your keys or what ever you use it on is quite susceptible to fraying and once it does renders the device useless. The strands that hang off if it are very sharp and pointy and can cut, I found this out the hard way. Maybe they should cover this braided wire with plastic of some sort to prevent this, or provide extras just in case this happens. I will update this when the company gets back to me to see what there remedy is.

I work I law enforcement and I picked this little guy up for my squad keys. Out of the box it's large and kind of bulky. This is what I expected when I ordered it something that was big and was going to last. When it worked it did a good job. Had a bad squek I wasn't a big fan off when it was pulled out. Unfortunatelyy after about two weeks it became jammed and wouldn't retract or pull. I looked like the hole for the string is made of plastic and after repeated use the string cut into the plastic and came off it's "track".

Just bought my second one. I could not get the included metal cable to thread through the eyelet on my GPS. I called the company for a solution and they have a Kevlar cord that works just fine. The cost to me...nothing. They gave it to me. How's that for customer care!!! This thing is brutally strong. My GPS lists for $450 and I don't want to lose it. Towards that end, this is by far the best solution. It's a macho beast.

So used this on my most recent vacation. On my $1000 point and shoot.So it worked great being pulled in and out over the week around 1300x without any wear on the line.I did have issue with the small wire pulling out twice , somehow it got itself free of the clip. (Minus 1 Star). It should not just come off without the clip being unclipped which it was not.

I have went through so many of these, I am done ! They cannot hold any kind of weight , cable breaks off every time after only a few months use! They are absolute garbage , and somebody out there needs to manufacture one that is worth buying,,,,these are NOT it ! I am a home inspector and carry light weight tools on them,,,they cannot handle anything !

I recently used this on a trip to Europe to hold my Sony NEX-7 ready at hand on my backpack strap. So easy to grab and pull up to my face for a quick shot! It held the camera with lens just fine.This thing rocks and is built like a tank.

I like it. Works as it should. I got caught in the pouring down pour one evening for about an hour and ever since then the item squeaks a little. Not always. But it always retracts and always extends. A little bigger than I expected.

Love it for my badge at work except for when you pull it out, it squeaks like it's rusty and needs some oil. It's super annoying, but besides that it's a nice product.

Schon ein ziemlich großer Klopper. Die Ausmaße sind in der Produktbeschreibung richtig angegeben. Das ist also kein Grund sich zu beschweren. Für ein normales Schlüsselbund ist es überdimensioniert. Für mehr Gewicht ist es sicher super.2 Sterne Abzug für eine irreführende/falsche Produktbeschreibung. Da heißt es: EndstückE mit Drahtschlaufe UND Sprengring. Tatsächlich ist nur das Endstück mit Drahtschlaufe im Lieferumfang enthalten. Der nach meiner Meinung sicherere Sprengring, ist nur in einen extra zu erwerbenden Zubehörset enthalten. Und das kostet dann noch mal soviel.

Solid construction, although I’m disappointed the metal cable won’t fit through the eyelet on my tactical flashlight...I see a previous reviewer had the same problem with his GPS, but they rectified the situation by providing him with an extra Kevlar cord. I hope the seller sees my review and helps me out! I volunteer with marine search and rescue and would love to use the item! If they can assist me, I would change my review to 5 star!
