I have two puppies and a sandy yard. It was a constant battle keeping the floor clean. This is a game changer. I still get some sand on the floor but not even close to what I had. Instead of the floor looking like I hadn't mopped in a month, it's more like a day. It is very very soft and cushy! The dogs love to lay on it. It's a quick shake off the deck and the sand is back where it belongs in the yard. The only thing I'm not crazy about is there is no backing so it moves around a lot on the floor. I may add some backing if it seems to be holding up for the long haul. I have not washed it yet so no comment on that but I don't expect a problem. I would definitely not put this in the dryer as it appears to be made of microfiber. So far, very pleased and may order another for the other back door.

These rugs are very absorbent and soft. My dogs love them! I have purchased several of these in varied sizes. I have them around the house so that my dogs have soft places to lay instead of on bare hardwood floors. I also have a huge one under their feeding station and it sucks up all the slobber from my big boy. Both of my dogs like to bunch them up for a soft place to lay and the rugs are helping to relieve their elbow pressure issues from laying on hard surfaces.These rugs are also very durable and wash well in cold or warm water. I haven't had one fall apart. It also does a great job of wicking water and dirt from my dogs' paws. They capture a surprising amount of dirt from paws, so be sure to shake them out vigorously before washing so you don't clog your washing machine.Note that if you are looking for a true navy blue, this is NOT that color. It has a slight purple hue that is very apparent when paired with true blue room accessories. I kept it because I had an urgent need for my office floor since my dog started playing supervisor. His comfort is more important than my decor. However, buyers should be aware.

Best mat to have by your doors for animals. Absorbs quickly snow and rain and dirt from their paws and has rubber backing to keep from moving around on hardwood floors, washes easily and drys as of it were brand new no wear and tear.

My dog loves these rugs! SO soft and great density, very hight quality. When my dog pees on it it doesn't go through o the floor. It's takes a long time to dry after WASHING. I dry it on low so I don't ruin the backing.

This rug exceeded my expectations. It is absorbent, thick, soft, plush, and easy to clean. I will be buying more in the near future.
