It's still alive
I had to work and left this plant in the box for two days before opening it and the plant was still vibrant green when I transplanted it. Two weeks after transplanting it in miracle grow soil, it began to turn brown in the middle. It was watered twice a week and left in the window for light. I removed most of the dead leaves and this plant ended up with new brown leaves again but is growing quickly and there is more green than brown. I am keeping it in doors for this season as it is snowing right now and I am monitoring it.
