This vendor went way over and above when it comes to trying to satisfy a customer. Let me explain. I had been asked by a friend to fix her laptop because it wouldn't boot at all. A quick check told me the battery was dead and this vendor on amazon struck me as a good source for a replacement. The laptop booted with no problem once the new battery was installed but a new problem surfaced after it had run for a while. It turned out that even having the AC Adapter plugged in would not recharge the battery. Which, I thought to myself maybe explained why the original battery might be dead. It was interesting to me, however, that the laptop would boot with no battery and the AC Adapter connected. That led me to believe the AC Adapter was functional.After much googling and testing others solutions, I still could not get it to charge. So, on a whim, I reached out to the vendor I'd purchased the battery from and asked whether they had heard of others with the same issue and, if so, how did they solve it. Needless to say I was surprised when Joe responded and started offering me things to try. This back and forth went on for a couple weeks until one day he said it was probably the AC Adapter and he was going to FedEx me another new battery AND(!) an AC Adapter. Unfortunately this still not solve the problem and I concluded the issue was more likely to be on the motherboard. Considering the age of the laptop, replacing that would probably cost more than a new laptop so I accepted defeat. I tried to arrange sending the new battery and AC Adapter back to the company but Joe would have none of it.So for those of you that have read this review all the way to here, I certainly can't say enough good things about this company and world recommend them in a heartbeat.

Perfect replacement battery , for my Sony laptop . It's nice to be able to run on battery for 2+ hours with this old dinosaur laptop

Quick and correct. This is my second replacement battery from them for the same computer. The longevity does not equal the original but price is better. So it’s kind of a “wash”.

The battery works perfectly! An absolute must-buy. It was about 40% when I installed it and I let it deplete the charge down to about 5% before turning off the computer and then plugging it into the charging cable. I can easily get 2+ hours of multi-tasking work done with a charge: music, video, excel spreadhsheet, power point presentation, word document and google search, among others. I priced this battery at about $95 before deploying. This one cost me half that. For DPO/APO customers deployed, do NOT try to ship it; Amazon (and rightly so!) will not send to APO/DPO addresses. It's not their policy, it is the air carrier and the USPS policies. My Battle Buddy offered to have his wife bring it out to me when she and their son came to visit my Buddy. I ordered it, sent it to their home in CO, and she carried it in her carry on bag from Houston, to Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Totally legal and totally efficient! I had the same issue with this battery as the other one I purchased. After the initial charge it didn't boot up my laptop. Now I'm trying to have laptop checked out to see if it has any other issues.

Works well and stays long

Replacing OEM Sony notebook PC's 12 years old battery, fit is good and matched original. It's not clear how well the battery will stand up to holding a full charge after powered off for a week or longer and overall durability in being reliable. Fully charged, standby time is about 3 hours under light load running Linux (no longer on Windows 10) Mint/Lite LTS - after powered off & stored for a week, battery only retained a partial charge, not fully discharged. Will cycle this a few times to see how this last and update this review, although it just past the free return period but if seller will honor its warranty ... hopefully not have to file a claim.

This battery lasted less than 2 months.Find another supplier.
