Flatiron Disc Adhesive Plate Hangers, 3-inch

Over the last few months I've mounted nearly 30 plates, bowls & platters using various sizes of these hangers. I love the clean look these provide, without the distraction of the wires visible with traditional plate hangers. The trick is to make sure that the glue is very tacky before applying the hangers & that the backs of the plates have been washed with soap & dried to remove any oil from your hands or other residue. Allow to dry overnight & check to be sure the hangers have adhered fully. If not, you can peel back any loose edges, re-wet & reseal once the glue is tacky.Allowing the glue to dry completely is key. Test the strength of the bond before hanging your plates. So far, so good - I'm hoping to enjoy seeing my plate collection for many years to come!

I bought over 20 of these. After following the directions closely, the next day I found that about 6 didn't stick at all. I purchased more and repeated the process. They seemed to be REALLY stuck on the back of the plate the second time around. I hung 21 of my great grandmothers and grandmothers plates/saucers. They have been on the wall for about 2 months now and in the last week 2 of them have fallen. The disk remained hanging from the nail while my plate ended up on the floor in pieces. It was not a matter of weight. I used the proper size on each plate and followed all the directions, cleaning the plates etc as recommended. Very devastating.

I was skeptical of these at first. I followed directions of attaching them to my platters. I have several old platters of various sizes I wanted to hang on our wall. I let them sit overnight after wetting the plate hanger. Some of them did not seal at the edge, so I re-moistened the edge the next morning, and put a weight on it and let it sit another 24 hours. It worked. The platters are still hanging on the wall and look great.

I didn't realize these plate hangers existed but always seem to find what I want on Amazon! These disc plate hangers are easy to use and are much better than wire plate hangers, as they keep the plate close to the wall and you don't have anything to interfere with the plate design.

What a great tool for hanging plates and other odd shaped items. Follow the install directions. Nice sold hold. I love it

I thought I'd already reviewed these once, but....I am very pleased with the product, and even with s/h I saved quite a bit over what I could get these locally.My only complaint was the s/h were high, I thought. The package cost under $1 to mail, and yet I paid about $3.50 in s/h. Seemed a bit much. But maybe Amazon Marketplace sets the s/h prices....
