The screen went black after about 1minute, is it normal?

Hi, to make the camera do not give any visual discomfort, The screen will go black but still recording after 1 minute by default. The flashing blue light means recording. If you want the screen on, just turn to menu and turn off "screen saver" function.

Does this dashcam record audio?

it does but Very Poorly. mostly static. they really should not even claim it records audio it is so bad. you can turn it off in the menu to avoid wasting space for noise
