For size reference: I'm 5'5" and a size 2-4 in pants and wear a small in tops. I got this in a small and the fit is very nice. I would like the arms to be a tiny bit longer, and the body to be a little more fitted, but it's overall very good. It's obviously a high-quality coat. The zipper is very smooth, the fur lining the hood is very soft and looks nice. The lining is dreamy. The fleece around the cuffs and in the pockets is sooooo soft and cozy. Most of the interior is a silky fabric, so it slides on easily over sweaters, but there is a large patch of the fleece on the back, too, which does help with warmth. The outer fabric seems very durable. I don't anticipate down leakage to be a problem with this. It's not the kind of fabric that will snag, and it will not get abrasions or tears easily. The neck is very well-designed. It snaps tight to the neck so you can get away without a scarf, if you need to. The hood, additionally, wraps around the neck and snaps in the front, so you can put the hood up and have additional coverage in the front, if you want - or you can leave that part un-snapped and still have the coat snug around your neck. The only thing that's kind of undesirable is that the same thing that makes the fabric high-quality, warm and durable also makes it a little bit noisy. But it's not a big deal. I got it in the loden color, which was a big selling point for me, and it's gorgeous. I'm very happy with this. I commute by public transportation in Denver, and I need a coat that will keep me warm if I'm stuck waiting outside in inclement weather. This does the job, for sure! For the price, it's a very high-quality, warm, beautiful coat. Highly recommend.

This coat is fitted, so it does fit snug. But I ordered it in the same size as I wear, XL, in clothes, and it fits perfectly. If you like to wear bulky clothes under your coat, possibly go up a size, but I love the fact that it is fitted. It flatters my busty (38DD) figure and doesn't look like I'm just wearing a big sack. It zip up snugly but comfortably all the way up.. It is very warm and also breathable. It doesn't take you from freezing to sweating like some coats do. It also turns water, eliminating the need for an umbrella in light rain. The fur in the cuffs of the sleeves stretches to fit snugly around my wrists which keeps out the cold and helps keep gloves in place. I have a large rump and some coats are difficult for me to sit down in. Not this coat. It is comfortable sitting and standing. It does not feel heavy to me but would be too heavy for someone with arthritis or fibromialgia. It is not feather weight. My only tiny little negative comment is that I wish the pockets were deeper. But they do zip, so you don't risk anything falling out, which I love. This coat is wonderful and I love it. I would highly reccomend it.

I'm 51kg and 156cm, and this coat fits me perfectly as a petite person. I just wore the coat in -8 Celsius weather and it kept me very warm. In fact, my legs were cold but not my body!My only complaint is that the poppers on the hood come off too easily, so don't grab the coat by the hood. I really recommend this coat, it's fantastic.

I agonized over spending this amount of money for a coat but it checked all of the boxes. I am 5 ft 3, 125 and I ordered a small loden green. It is perfect. I wanted a coat that was long enough to cover most of my legs and this coat hits me at the bottom of my knees, which is just where I hoped that it would. I do a lot of walking around town and wanted something to keep the wind and the cold away. This successfully hits the mark. I love the outside breast pocket for my lip balm and the side pockets are big enough for my beefy "man hands." I love wearing one or two light layers under this coat.I was a little worried about the quality of the product after reading a few reviews about loose feathers but that has not happened to me yet. Should it happen, I will update my review.The detachable faux fur hood is adorbs and does snap off easier than I would like if I hang it up by its hood, but there is a loop sewn into the coat and you can hang it up by that without the worrying about the hood popping off. no worries there.If you prefer to add heavier layers under your coat or like the coat looser on you, order a size up. As it is, it shows my curves, while keeping me warm and toasty

than consider this jacket. UPDATE: wore this in a winter downpour (forgot umbrella) and stayed completely dry. Rain repelled perfectly. Pros: extremely warm, lightweight compared to parkas, nice hood/neck protection, fleece around wrists, deep fleece-lined pockets, nice extra pockets, good length for outdoor walking, etc. Cons: not fitted, zipper is gray plastic-seems cheap: wish it were black and had a weather flap, fleece around wrists gray-better if black to blend in. For my needs, the pros outweighed the cons and I looked at many jackets (from North Face to Columbia.) I’m 5’7, 158 lbs and where M-L. I bought a large so I could layer underneath. Flexible and fits very comfortably.

I live in a very cold climate with lots of snow. I am so glad I bought this jacket! It is absolutely the warmest coat I have ever owned and it is fairly light weight. I have been out in -20 and not really noticed except for my face getting cold! It is like putting on a cozy comforter. The bottom unzips so you can sit with it on. I do have an issue with the zipper sticking at the bottom sometimes. And because of the length, you need to bunch it it to zip. But that is due to the length. Not super “flattering” because it is built more for warmth! But overall cute and it fits over my “busty” busts. Washes up nice too!!

I wear 8-10, and ordered a small. It’s far too big. Even with layers underneath there is still room. It’s also not as stylish as they say- looks big and clumsy. Too many outside pockets and details spoil a potentially sleek look. It’s also not as warm as North Face. I do regret buying this.

Lovely and warm. Looks great on too. I am a size 10 and the Medium fits perfect. Love the soft lining on the cuffs too.
