The media could not be loaded. The description stated that the spools are "lightly" wax coated and can be burned to avoid fraying. This is not true. This is not what I expected when I ordered "wax coated" cord. If it truly is lightly coated (extremely lightly, if at all) as described in the description but not the heading, it is so very light that I believe it should not be described or advertised as waxed cord. As for the statement, "can be burned to avoid fraying," see the video below which proves how "lightly" waxed it is (or isn't). Those issues aside, it's good quality cord at a more than fair price. I would definitely suggest this cord for those not needing a waxed, meltable thread.

Love the color combinations available.The pink set I purchased was exactly what I needed for the string bracelets I was making for a group of middle school girls.Other color combinations were nice, too.2. Price was excellent.Cons:1.The thread is NOT WAXED.If you are beading or using for another project, this string may work fine. But for pura vida style string bracelets, this string does not work. The string will not melt together on the ends.2. It's not soft. I thought maybe with time and wear it may soften up, but the string is very stiff.I was so excited about finding supposedly waxed thread, in this color combination, at a good price. Now I have no bracelets for our event this weekend -- so very disappointing.

Just burns if you try, not waxed at all like it is stated. Colors are pretty if you just like cord.

I got the cord for casual projects and while it doesn't really feel waxed, it's decent enough for my purposes so far.

Wax was not noticeable, cord was very dry.

This cord is waxed, but not enough for my projects. I tie a bracelet with a sliding knot which needs a certain amount of wax to stay in place. This cord does not have near enough to do that. Another problem is the strands of the cord unraveling as you thread the end through multiple or small holes.Tip: I use a little chap stick on the cord to help it stick better. This is not as good as properly waxed cord, but it helps.If your projects do not require heavily waxed cord, this may work well for you.

I don’t know what I’ll use this for because it’s so large and won’t go through any needles or beads that I have. The colors are good, but they’re absolutely useless for beading unless you have needs with a huge hole. Can’t make wrap bracelets with 4 mm beads with this and it will NOT go through any needles I have. (And I have at least 50) . So disappointed. Now I’ll have to order something else. 🙁

Completamente en algodón y con muy poco encerado, lo que me encantó pues al trabajarlo la sensación es muy agradable, sin embargo, la falta de cera hace que al quemar no se selle y quede un poco deshilado.Los colores son tal cual en la foto.Me agradaron bastante.
