I needed to travel on my own for a conference. I purchased this alarm for extra security and tested it while at home. It works great! Luckily no one tried breaking in while I was traveling, but I felt safer all the same

I wouldn’t travel without these. Small box of security. Great for travel or home. If you have small children you will definitely know if they open a door, or if somebody enters your home. Great price as well.

Purchased for a trip abroad. It came in handy since they put us in an adjoining room. It was easy to take with us and using it was a breeze. Would definitely recommend it. The only thing - the spring came out on one of them when I was taking out the battery. Other than that - they were great.

The Ace Mining door alarm was ordered for use with 4 of our doors. I tested one of the alarms on a door that I knew it would fit. The alarm was loud enough, and came on quickly when it was set off. Unfortunately, 2 of the other units would not work with 2 of the other doors. No matter what we did, the unit did not fit the door and could not be made to work.The units do work, but just be aware that a door may not fit the unit. Based upon them not fitting, I would not order again.

They work, and what a wonderful safe idea for travelers or dorms, etc.

The alarm sensitivity is adjustable and it runs well on an easily accessible 9 volt battery. Other batteries aren't as reliable or powerful.The door stop can be placed for zero door opening, quarter, half, etc. allowing some access before the alarm is triggered. This is important depending on circumstance.This is probably the least expensive and most effective security device you can buy.No brainer, fool proof.

These are great for 1) travelling to secure under the hotel or AirBNB doors and 2) for my daughter's dorm room. They look good, very easy to set up and VERY LOUD. One more thing, when I tried to set it up at the MOST sensitive setting, it actually triggered as I was gently putting it on the floor. It is incredibly sensitive. I find the mid to low sensitivity is more than enough.

Took this on vacation. On the carpeted hotel room floor, although the door stop was wedged below the door, it simply slid back easily along the carpet without engaging the alarm when the door was opened. However within my next room, I was able to wedge the door stop on an angle between the bottom of the door and a wall. When the door was unexpectedly opened, it loudly screamed like a banshee! It wouldn't work though if you couldn't angle it against a solid object.
