As far as I know that’s how it comes. The “lines” u see in between is the gap. Mine didn’t last long as I screwed it up putting on my window the static cling didn’t work well. It fell off afterwards.

Q: what is the diameter? and how are they holding up in the weather?

It's a 4 1/2 inch. And I had it up since March and it's done great in Florida weather. The only bad part about it was that it was extremely hard to put on, it took nearly one hour to do. It didn't transfer as easy as my other stickers. And when cleaning the glass one of the triangles rolled off but i was able to salvage it.I love it just those where cons.
