Perfect adapters for Italy/Sicily, cheap, but well made and slip in a travel bag with no problem. The three pin works best over there. Recommended 100%

These are cheaply made and appropriately low cost per adapter, but you have to buy 4 when 2 would be enough. Unsurprisingly for the price, the UK socket part is not shuttered. I checked them using other adapters and all contacts were ok but I wouldn't use them for heavy loads.Having an adapter specifically for Italy is a good idea. Europlugs (with 2 thin converging prongs) fit into Italian sockets and connect fine, at least if the socket hasn't been rendered defective by other tourists! The lack of earth is generally not important for the stuff you take on holiday. The Schuko type plugs used in most of Europe are sometimes ok IF it's a hybrid socket (common but not in all hotels) but they otherwise don't fit as the prongs are too thick. A few years ago in Southern Italy I had to lend someone a spare thin-pronged adapter as their Schuko type didn't fit.
