Smooth and sturdy
Bought a lovely looking office chair for not a lot of money. Within 6 months I had to replace the gas strut and then the casters started shedding ball bearings and bending. These casters are strong and smooth and with the quality gas strut we now have a lovely chair. Must remember the old saying however 'You buy cheap, you buy twice'.

Replace your IKEA wheels, now.
I've just put these on, and I wish I had changed the wheels as soon as I bought the chair. My Ikea desk chair (Markus) cut into my hard-wearing wooden floors, splintering it. Instead of trying to protect the floor (with a huge ugly sticky pad, which I did before) I bought these.Instantly you can tell they'll be better due to the hard rubber design. They create a spongey feeling when seated, which is less sturdy compared to the hard plastic factory fitted ones, and they add a little more height too (just change your seat height again to suit). But overall, they are much smoother to move around in, you may find it's too easy to roll about now, but I'll no longer be dragging my seat while lifting to take it off the factory casters while looking below me in concern it's going to tear through more of my floor.Save your floors, get these. (Don't forget to measure your caster wheels) as they come in 11mm and 10mms (ikea) connections. Now, I'm going to buy some for my wife's chair!

Great
Far better than having to try to clean out the usual castors that come with office chairs. Mobility great and no cleaning involved. Floor does have to be free of any kind of debris though for smooth running; having said that it still moves about just not as smoothly.

Perfect fit
They fit right into my ikea torkel chair. I'm so used to fighting the old wheels to move out from my desk that now when I go to move away I end up on the other side of the room.A bit of an update on the castors. If the holes that these slot into are even slightly damaged then due to the shape and height of the wheels they will make the hole unusable. Change the wheels before they damage the holes.

Really, really quiet wheels - super smooth
These are even better than expected. I got them just to raise my chair a little but turns out these are incredibly smooth too and roll on solid wood like butter! Cant recommend more!
