This was recommended to make our deck staining job easier, and it definitely did the trick. It did a great job covering a large section at a time and really cut down the time it was taking me to stain the deck. Hook to an old broomstick (twist it in), and you’re ready to go. I recommend a paint tray wide enough for the brush to fit and hold your deck stain. It cleaned up well enough to use for future staining projects.

I’m not sure if it was intended for concrete floors but is works great. I have a rough concrete floor in my crawl space and this brush handled it like a champ. I got great coverage for a one coat job and the work went very fast. I used a roller on the smooth surface of the floor in the storage areas of my basement. I plan on using this to apply concrete paint to the pitted floor of my garage. Two years ago I used this brush to repaint my wood deck and it works just as well on that surface. In my opinion, this brush is worth every dime.

Perfect brush to apply semi transparent deck sealer and stain. Bristles are soft enough for this type of application.

This brush head is awesome for staining a deck! It just fits inside of a 5 gallon bucket so it's easy to use. This is so much better than using a roller or a pad because it does in between the deck boards and the board itself at the same time. If you are going to stain a deck, do yourself a favor and get this brush!!

This brush fits nicely in a 5 gallon bucket so I did not have to transfer stain to another container. It holds a lot of stain. I found that just barely touching the bristles on the stain was enough to coat about six feet of a six inch wide deck board. I only coated one board at a time, moving the brush from side to side, somewhat awkward. Trying to coat two boards at a time resulted in huge amounts of stain dripping between the boards. Brush fibers cleaned up quickly using a nozzle on the garden hose.

6 man hours to paint rails with a standard stain brush. 20 minutes to do the 200 square foot deck with the DEFY deck brush. Using the DEFY staining brush is the only way I will do a deck floor in the future. It put the stain down better than a brush and in 1/10th of the time and effort. Now if I can only get DEFY to make a hand brush version of this deck brush we will all be set.

This worked surprisingly well for staining my deck. I even used it for the railing and balusters. I am pretty sure this was faster than using a regular paint brush for the vertical parts, and adding a handle to this brush made it very, very fast on the deck floor.

This brush was just what I needed to stain my deck. I can’t believe how quick and easy it was to apply stain in this way! Deck looks great too.
