This adapter is rated 9v @ 1A; however, at 1A I estimate a 1v sag would occur. This maybe OK, depending on your application.Testing details: The initial ("no load") voltage was 9.12v. I tested by applying a progressive load, until the voltage dropped below 97%, 95%, or 93% of the initial value. Under these criteria, the functional limits are 350mA (97%) or 500mA (95%). At 800mA the voltage had dropped to 8.46v (93%). The manufacturing quality seems good. (Label states manufacturer is Shenzhen Sunshine Tech.)

Worked fine to power my original NES
I bought this for the original Nintendo Entertainment System (US version).I usually like to use the original linerar power supply bricks, but in this case the internal rectifier was starting to go bad, and rather than repair it, I can use this external DC power supply to effectively bypass it and therefore help to clean up the video output.
