I have the privalege of personally knowing this cat. The fun thing about him is, he looks so innocent that one would never believe he was capable of such antics.

The title and cover art might hint at what's going on over at the Weatherby's...but, this quirky animal tale will warm the cockles of your heart. Knowing that Jack and this story are real, makes it that much more fun! It's a simple and sweet book for reading to wee ones and for early readers to journey through how a giant collection of single gloves, belts, toys and odds 'n ends appear on the Weatherby's doorstep each morning. The simple, colorful and quirky illustrations are a perfect match to the story. Jack the Cat Burglar would make a great video...AND it makes me want to meet the real Jack!

What is special about this book is it is based on a true story. There is a cat named Jack and he did bring those many items mentioned in the book to the doorstep of the couple that adopted him. This book would make a great gift for those special children in your family. The story keeps the children’s attention and the illustrations are nicely done. My two grandchildren, age 6 (twins), loved the book.

The perfect true tale of a mysterious and mischievous cat. It should appeal to young children both as a book to read or having had it read to them. The illustrations are imaginative both in color and style. The length is just right for the attention span of a young one. It would be a delightful gift or to add to one's library.
