FROGG TOGGSiCOOL PVA Cooling Towel

I want to start by saying that this is a very weird product. But also, it is awesome. After you get it wet for the first time and then let it dry, it dries completely stiff and you cannot roll it, fold it or do anything with it. Once you are done using it, you will need to fold it first while it is wet and let it dry that way.That being said, this product really works. It feels kind of weird at first- almost like rubber, but it really does the trick to cool you off. Most of the time I will place it around my neck or over my shoulders and back, but I’ve also put it on my head, and even on my face. Once it acclimates to your body temperature, just take it off and wave it back-and-forth once or twice and put it back on and it will be completely cold. It stays in the soft, cool stage for a very long time so it’s great for working out or sports or even those hot flashes!

I’m from south Florida, it’s the dead of summer, and my AC died 😭 We Floridians aren’t afraid of ten foot gators, flying cockroaches, deadly hurricanes, lightening strikes, nor the dreaded Florida Man - we are practically fearless. But, I’ll tell you a secret: we’re terribly afraid of being without our AC! I was living my worst fear! It was too hot to move, couldn’t sleep, and you can’t spend all day long in a cold water bath - though I tried! It was a Floridian NIGHTMARE! So I started looking for something inexpensive to help me survive until i could get the AC situation fixed, and I stumbled upon this. It really, really helped. It helped a whole lot. It’s a strange material, almost like rubber but not. When it dries out it becomes all crunchy, but then softens right out again as soon as you wet it. Weird, but I swear it helps. I would wet this, wring it out just so it wasn’t dripping, and it kept me alive 🤣 AC issue is fixed now but these are still great to have around. I have one for my hubby who is a land surveyor, it’s great for kids sports out in the heat, the beach, oh and it would be the best thing ever to have handy for a trip to Disney or Bush Gardens! For the price, it’s a great little invention! Try it out, it won’t break the bank

These work great, a perfect item to keep cool on summer walks, outdoor festivals or during power outages. Please read the instructions, it states clearly to wash prior to use. Those that commented on color bleeding are absolutely correct- if you do not wash it first. I bought several and just ran them in the washing machine with a color catcher before we used them the first time. Plenty of color was caught, however there has been no color bleed after the initial wash. As for smell, there is a bit of odd odor when you first open the package, once again following the instructions to wash before first use eliminated any odor. They can be cut to the size you want however they are just right to wear around your neck. They are wide enough that just re-rolling will bring a cool section back against your skin. For really active use you may want a larger size that hangs down farther. I received the real Frogg Toggs product, they do offer different versions on their website. Great for keeping cool, recommend!

These work great! Stays cold and damp for quite a while. My only complaints are, I wish it was bigger and they were sold in packs of more then one.

This product works best in a dry environment. It takes evaporative cooling and speeds it up times 10! However, it will help even in a humid environment. It's just that the cooling towel will get hot faster and need to be removed from your body, flapped through the air a little bit to cool it down, and then replaced. This was so helpful in the hot humid days of summer. Kept me from having any heat illness.

It retains moisture and keeps you cool while maintaining a small footprint. Pro tip, fold it up nice and small before it dries or you’ll have a hardened work or art.

The instructions say to soak it in cold water before use. It does cool very well after that, as long as the water stays cold, which unfortunately is not very long in a high heat environment. I expected the towel to use evaporation to keep the cooling sensation, but all that happens is I end up with a wet, warm towel. Since they come in packs of two, I guess having the other one immersed in cold water and then switching them out would be helpful. A bit disappointed.
