Most of the reviews I have read talk about mild biking on smooth surfaces. I’m a mountain biker and off-road Dirtbike rider that rides extremely rough terrain, jumps, rocks, drop offs, and big hits. The write up said that this mount was super secure and I was a bit worried at first. But after my first hardcore ride, I can attest to the durability, strength, and security of this Mount! Frankly, I was damn impressed. I mean, who wants to see their $800 phone flying off of your handlebars at high speeds into the dirt and rocks!?Pros:* Price. This is a high quality Mount that is built extremely strong with good material. I can’t believe they sell it so cheap!*The Mount is exceptionally stable and will Mount the almost any phone in almost any configuration and angle. Nice.*Because of how the phone clamps into the Mount, and the adjustability of the clamps and silicone straps, the entire touch screen and camera lenses on my phone are completely unhindered and all buttons are easily accessible. Because the bar clamp is adjustable and can rotate on the handlebar, I can use my phone camera to video the ride!*The bar clamp is super easy on and off. This is a great feature for me as I have two mountain bikes, a Dirtbike, and a super adventure motorcycle. One Mount is all I need for all of my machines.*The phone holder and elastic strap is large enough for my iPhone 11 plus the large Otter Box phone protector, no problem. The kit came with two extra silicone bands of different sizes for smaller sized phones.* unlike other systems, like the Quad Mount, I don’t have to use a special phone case that affixes to the Mount. With this holder you can use any phone case, or no case at all.* Installing and removing the phone from the Mount is super fast and easy.*The key to success with this Mount is the two side retaining braces, and the fixed brace along the bottom edge of the Mount. Those, with the combination of the silicone strap makes accidental release of the phone damn near impossible. Beware of other models/brands that do not have the strong backing plate, side braces, and fixed brace along the bottom!Cons:* The entire Mount with the phone attached is a bit bulky, but not too bad. It’s also not super lightweight (like the Quad Mount system) but that is because it uses machined aluminum parts for the bar clamp.* Because of the size of the clamp, and the adjustable phone/ball mount, it raises the phone off of the handlebars a fair amount (maybe a couple of inches). This didn’t prove to be too big of a problem, my knees never came close to touching the mount while pedaling. This could make the phone a bit more vulnerable to damage if I had a flip-over crash. But, is there any phone mount out there that would protect the phone from damage in a severe crash? Probably not.* On the super rough stuff, I noticed that the phone holder vibrates and flexes a bit making the phone screen hard to see/read. This could actually be a pro rather than a con as the vibration dampens the shock to the phone and keeps things from being ultra ridged. I found that in super rough and technical terrain the last place I’m looking is at my handlebars, anyway, so not really a big deal. The extra vibration would limit the effectiveness of videoing the ride in rough terrain, though.Five out of five, IMO, on this phone bar mount! Would I order this product again? I just did...for my wife’s mountain bike!

By far the most serious phone mount I've seen. Extremely sturdy, it uses a dedicated small tool to attach it to the bike. Once done,it's very theft resistant, using a very creative method. My mounting location is the frame tube on a step thru Ebike. Not the conventional location, but this mount lends itself to multiple mounting positions. The phone holder portion can be adjusted from loose to very rigid. It holds my 13 pro max in the case with no problem, and simple one hand placement. A simple squeeze to the side clamps, and you're good to go. Push the button located on the back of the case to release the case. I've only used it for 1 ride, 30 miles over older pavement with plenty of bumps, and the phone was unmoved.The color is compatable with my bike, and anything I've done in respect to this mount is typically done with my 'shorty' riding gloves. Easy to grip and easy to use. No doubt the best phone mount I've ever used.

Great phone holder! I bought one for my bike and one for my Harley. As much as a Harley shakes it doesn’t come loose. I like that you can also lock it.It’s worth the money!!

After trying another phone holder sold on Amazon I stepped up to this model. I have been loving it and thought I made a great purchase. That is until it sent my phone sliding down the street tonight. My phone is an iPhone 11 Max so it is on the larger side, but not the biggest or heaviest. I'm very disappointed because it was working really, really well. After reading the other reviews I am sure it will happen again with replacements and next time my phone might not land so well. If you look at the photo you can see the broken piece leaning against the clamp.** Update **I am compelled to write this update and change my star rating because the customer support from this seller has been unbelievable. They really want me to be happy with this purchase and have sent me numerous correspondence and replacements to remedy the problem. The 2nd unit they sent me also failed in exactly the same place as the 1st one did. I believe the problem has to do with the ball and socket mounting point and the threaded locking collar that tightens around the ball and socket. As time went by I found that I had to tighten that collar-nut more and more to keep the phone orientated towards me. Over time that swiveling connection point would loose grip and the phone would slide downwards and face the ground. Eventually it appears that having that nut so sight put more and more pressure on the stem that the ball is on top of and it breaks. Therefore I have rearranged the handlebar mount (which has a tenacious grip) so that the thumb screw can rest underneath the phone cradle for added support. I also used a zip tie to act as a tether (saved my phone on the 2nd break). I also tightened the zip tie enough that it too is supporting some of the weight of the phone to keep it facing up towards me. I attached a picture of these two changes. I feel confident this is not going to break this time. Also I know that the zip tie will save my phone no matter what happens. I think it is worth doing this because other than the one piece that broke twice the rest of the phone mount (new model pictured) is really excellent. The bar clamp is perfect and very strong and the phone cradle really holds the phone in place well.So 4 stars for an almost great product and wonderful customer service and minus 1 for the piece that broke on me twice. I would buy again and recommend it, but I would do the changes I show.

This was purchased to install on my HD Low Rider ST. It has worked exceptionally well. No vibration, easy to installed, multiple options as far as handlebar angles.

Received on promised date and installed on bike immediately, very easily done and fits my iphone with otterbox case perfectly. Looking forward for my next ride to try it out.Thank you

Great for about a year and a half, then last week, I was riding and noticed my music had stopped... looked down and realized that the whole unit broke off my handle bars and flew off my bike...mounting bracket was still attached.... found my phone still attached to the unit about a quarter mile back up the road... thankfully was not ridden over yet and recovered my phone..

This is indeed a very good product. When I got this bike phone holder, I couldn’t wait to open it, but due to my carelessness, it slipped from my hand. Fortunately, there was no problem in using it. It was very good. Sturdy. After that, I pressed it on my bicycle and started using it. Just like the product description, the phone is very safe and stable on it, and there is no jitter or sliding. I can concentrate on my riding and use the mobile phone.
