Nielsen-Massey Pure Lemon Extract for Baking and Cooking, 2 Ounce Bottle

McCormick peppermint extract almost got me to give up on peppermint extract all together. The chemical taste that everybody describes is real. But Nielsen-Massey proves peppermint extract can be done right. Totally different from the McCormick product. I haven't yet baked with it but I use it in my coffee on a daily basis, which is a great way to test an extract. There's no where for the chemical taste to hide if it's there. Long story short, this stuff is excellent and if you're looking for a peppermint extract that will just taste like peppermint you found the right stuff.

Excellent taste. Makes the best peppermint bark. Alittle pricey but worth the money. Will purchase again.

I use this to make peppermint bark at Christmas. Really is the best extract one can buy. Others might be cheaper, but nah.

Using Neilsen Massey is like going from generic to a fine bakery. The color is great. All their products are sealed as they should be. The potency is awesome, even if I'm cheating and making a variation on a store bought cake, I'll add a tsp or even a bit more of the lemon extract, not "vanilla" and it gives any box mix a much more authentic taste. As far as cost, even if it is a bit more the value in the taste is worth it. It does not change the baking ability of anything, it's just a really good product.

Wow, packs a punch, but I knew I could count on Mielsen-Massey. You could use this as an essential oil around the house. It's wonderful

I used it on cotton balls to get rid of mice in my garage. It’s safe and it works.

Smells like heaven

Goût agréable mais l'huile de menthe est coupés avec de l'éthanol. Vous devrez donc adapter vos recettes en conséquence : au lieu de deux ou trois gouttes d'essence de menthe, il faut mettre deux-trois cuillères à café de cet ingrédient.

This is a quality product at a reasonable price. It delivers a good flavour profile. I used it recently to make choc mint slice and the kids loved it
