Love this product! Best red dot sight I own. Purchased another one for my girlfriend AR; we both prefer the holosun battle grade sight over the trijicon MRO.Because it's clearer, has more features, comes with a sun screen, and is always always always ready to go.Shake awake with auto dim or brighten, makes it always ready to go. It's always the perfect brightness everytime you go to shoot and you never ever have to mess with it. Even $1000 dollar sights can't do that making this thing the best value for your money by far!It compares to the super expensive red dots in every catagory and in my opinion excels over the expensive optics in basically all categories.

So far so good. The fit and finish are superb. Very high quality product and it’s very lightweight even though is very rugged/strong. Packaging is great and it includes the battery and all tools. I found it interesting that it even comes with a spare battery tray as well. It also includes see-thru lens covers that flip open if you want to. I really like the solar strip that also senses the brightness or darkness of a room and it will automatically increase or decrease the reticles brightness so you see it better. The quick-detach mount is solid and really locks into place quite well with zero movement once mounted. Additionally the QDs release lever locks into place as well and has a mechanism that secures it so it doesn’t ever accidentally release and pop open. All in all, I think this red dot sight is amazing. I totally recommend it and this is coming from a guy that has a lot of experience with Aimpoints and Eotechs. Buy it! You’ll love it.

Aside from the zero being pretty off from the factory there’s nothing to complain about with this optic. It’s easy to use and see, Holosun has thought of pretty much everything in this design. The quick detach lever has a retainer to prevent accidental removal, the turret caps for the adjustment dials can be flipped over and used as a key to move the dials. The solar and shake awake features are great for saving on battery life. I don’t usually buy optics as high up in price as this but I definitely think it’s a great value considering.

Opened and turned on as soon as I got home. Disappointed when I noticed the double image. Contacted Amazon immediately and refund was initiated. Ordered a new one as soon as I was off the phone with Amazon support. I have many Holosun items and this is the first one to be defective. I will update this review after receiving the replacement. This item appeared as though it may have been opened before. No damage, just items in box not arranged like other Holosun optics packaging. Could have been a return.

It is a good sight, and I anticipate it will prove to be a fair value. In retrospect I would have rather purchased the HS-515GM. Why?There are two key diffreences. This model has the solar backup and the auto brightness. The auto brightness is not user adjustable, so if you are in bright light it works well, however shooting from shade to bright light the reticle is badly washed out, and in the dark, well, if you have night vision it's going to work well, if you have a weaponlight, your light will wash out the reticle horribly. My 2nd gripe is the battery tray, it uses tiny torx screws, and the tray seems very prone to incorrect insertion and pinching the o-ring.Positives, the battery life means you won't have to mess with the tray very much at all ( 1x a year is a probably a safe bet). The shake awake is fantastic, the manual brightness adjustability, the dot/ ring adjustabity is a nice feature. The QD mount seems well enough made, and is a good height. The see through flip up caps are a nice touch.I removed the killflash, it is a bit distracting, (the material is a shiny metal so I feel reflection off if it's vanes contribute to this) besides killflash on a 0x dot seems a little more marketing gimmick than practical enhancement, IMO.Overall, a good sight, but I am convinced the 515GM is a better value.

Great red dot, works great. The 65 MOA ring makes for a very quick acquisition at close quarters. It came almost zeroed right out of the box (very minor adjustment needed), and seems to be maintaining zero even after removal and reinstallation (same position on the receiver rail). With the mount it comes with (pre-installed), it works in 1/3 co-witness with MBUS Pro irons. I'm super happy with this purchase.

FIRST: I feel bad for individuals whom spent $380-$425 on a product that had a defect or just didn't work for them.SECOND: For anyone else. The “Elite 2 MOA Green Dot” “Holosun” is dope (amazing) its not zeroed out of the box. Take it to the range ASAP. “Elevation” is on top, clockwise turns elevation down. Counter clockwise turns elevation up. “Windage” in on right panel. Clockwise veers right. Counter clockwise veers left. Instructions are super easier, all the equipment needed to mount to firearm (tool) is included in box with user Manuel. Aim center and use clockwise/counter clockwise to walk your mark to center.THIRD: I was nervous when I ordered. Because it was expensive and I read a lot of the negative reviews to prepare myself. However After using “Holosun” I realize now that most (not all) of the bad is purely user error.FINAL: Its expensive. But cheap compared to other brands for what features it comes with. Its very sturdy. Easy to attach, tighten, and with slight adjustment tweaks here and there (elevation/windage) its easy to zero. Shake awake is easy. But if your driving prese +/- on right side same time to auto turn off. And when you get to destination press any button to turn on and it remembers your saved settings. It comes with a battery and it has a solar panel, while holding its Zero.Invest in yourself. And get one. When it comes to you…..PRICELESS.HAPPY HUNTING.YOUR WELCOME.
