I was a bit nervous about this jacket - it seemed so cheap for the price. I figured it was worth a shot, but half expected to be disappointed.Welll...It's been great. I live in Seattle, so winter temps are around 30-40 degrees. This jacket is perfect for the colder days. It's nice and light, doesn't restrict movement at all, and easily goes over a long sleeved shirt or thinner jacket.It's not 'waterproof' but it is fine to wear in light rain. In heavier rain it will start to soak.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. The winter weather usually ranges from about 40 to 60 degrees F. The only issue is the rain in the winter- not good for nylon-down jackets. But when its dry and the winter temperature can dip down into the mid-30s just above freezing. This down jacket is perfect for a day like that. The mornings and nights are the chilliest. Since it's packable, you may just want to hook it to your belt during the warm afternoons and put it on when the sun goes down.This jacket is well made, I could find no flaws in its construction. The outside chest pocket is something that is normally found on down jackets that are twice the price and is really convenient. My only comment is that the elastic around the hood could be a bit tighter - a drawstring would be better yet..

We travel a lot, and it is cumbersome to try to pack a coat if we're not sure what direction the thermometer will go while abroad or on a trip. My husband could not be without this coat! It is real feather down, and it squishes into a very small bag. It adds no weight to our luggage, and is perfect for cold or raining weather. It was a perfect fit...I ordered a large, and he normally wears a large. This is a great value!!!!

So I bought this for myself in the women's jacket and then for my fiance in the men's and we both love this jacket! We live in Minnesota and have felt its great for when the weather is 20 and above. It comes with a little pouch that you can shove the coat into which has proven great for traveling! My fiance even prefers this jacket over his Canadian Goose one!

This down jacket is yellow NOT white at all. And it is paper thin! Only gave it one star because I had to in order to write a review. Should have received no stars.

For the price, this is an excellent jacket for keeping the body warm. It is very light and nice looking. The only con is the hood opening. It is very large and there is no way to tighten the opening. If there is any wind, the wind goes inside the hood opening and either blows the hood off, at worst, or simply makes it impossible to keep your head warm. I need to carry a knit cap with me when I use the coat.

Need a lightweight jacket for a trip to Switzerland. This is perfect - extremely lightweight, decent price and warm. Note: I ordered a medium because I am 5'9", 141 lbs and it is somewhat snug when I wear short sleeve t-shirt, long sleeve t-shirt, sweatshirt and hoodie. A large would have been way too big for me. Feels good, glad I got it.
