Extended Magazine Release Lever and Auto Release Plate for Ruger 10/22 Combo

The bolt release works making chambering a round very simple. The magazine release also works and is much easier to use than the factory release.The mag release was rather easily bent by my 14 yr old granddaughter. If you try and straighten it it breaks. So be gentle.

I have three Ruger rifles and always change these pieces out.

Main issue is the finish of the auto bolt release. It had burrs from stamping that dragged on the housing enough to prevent it from working. After stoning off the burrs it works fine, but much if the finish was also removed - ugly result. Also, to work well with this mag release, it should have the operating portion extended to make it easier to engage.

You really cant beat it for the price. The pieces have a few sharp edges and the tolerances aren’t the best, but they work just the same as something three times expensive. the quality is honestly better than i expected. All metal with either a paint or powder coat.

Both items are robustly made of metal, not plastic. Super-simple to install and they funtion flawlessly. Several great YouTube install vids make the process painless. A terrific ergonomic improvement over the stock mag release, the mags drop out quickly with no more fiddling with the stock small release lever. The auto bolt release performs as described. I am 100% delighted with these VERY low cost improvements to my 10/22 and I am confident they will last a lifetime.

These were easy to install. Work great.

The bolt lock doesn't catch easily, and releases of the stock is bumped at all. I'm sure this is not everyone's experience, but the consistency is an issue. The mag release lever is not tightly molded to align with the trigger guard. It's also flimsy and bends easily. I could see how it breaks for others. Not worth returning. You get what you pay for.
