I purchased 2 of these when they were on Prime Days in October.OMG, ARE THESE SHARP! While I tend to sharpen my own knives, out of the box? These were like scalpels!I've used them for a couple weeks now, and there is no sign of the edge getting dull whatsoever. My biggest caution would be:If you've never used "professionally sharpened knives", these will cut the CRAP out of you if you're NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE DOING!So, did I cut myself accidently? Yep! I did! Thing is, the blade is SO sharp, I didn't have ANY knowledge of cutting myself until the blood showed up. I felt nothing. A quick bandage and I was good to chop my next tomato!

Love the weight of the knife and how comfortable it is when I am chopping away!

wanted to give the Chinese chef's knife style a try before dumping big money on something...but now that I tried it I don't think I will need to spend more, it's a great solid knife, will take some getting used to this style and the fit and finish isn't perfect on the handle material but it still feels great in the hand.i will definitely be buying more of their knives in the future. The only thing I wish it had is a sheath of some kind so I can hide it from the rest of the people in the house. 3d printing a sheath for it now!~

I did not have a cleaver knife and ordered this after giving some Chefs knives to my daughter from our kitchen when moving out. I was thinking of getting more Santoku knives but I love my cleaver and wanted to see if this would be a good crossover.It is, I really like it for veg cutting and chopping and it has the weight to deal with chopping some meats as well.I do find its balance a little strange where my cleaver feels like I control it from top down the clever knife feels more from the handle end. I don’t know if that makes sense but there you have it.It sharpens easy but holds an edge about as long as you’d expect a knife of this price to hold it.

I wish I had this knife years ago. It is absolutely the best for cutting and slicing vegetables. It fits the hand so well, requires very little effort, and is easy to control. I can slice onions paper thin and quarter cherry tomatoes without squashing them. Just what I had been looking for to round out my knife inventory.

Apparently this cleaver is made out of harder steel (58+) and while I don't have the means to test that, it definitely is made from a harder steel than my 56 hardness rated knives. The cleaver is VERY sharp and for a couple days of light use seems to be holding the edge very well. Nicely shaped ergonomic handle not made from Pakka wood (laminated wood sheets glued together) which is a bonus.I am very satisfied with this cleaver, and just ordered the other items in the set (chef, paring, and Nakiri knives).

Messer kam pünktlich und gut verpackt bei mir an.Die ersten Schneide-Tests hat es gut bestanden.Es liegt gut in der Hand.Über die langfristige Schärfe kann ich noch keine Aussage treffen, aber vom ersten Eindruck her bin ich sehr positiv gestimmt.

I had seen some chefs using this on TV and it looked so efficient so I did the research and ordered this 7" Nakiri. After a couple of weeks I must say how pleased I am with it! It's well balanced, sharp, thin and cleans up perfectly well. Great value for money. So happy I added this knife to my kitchen toolbox!
