The yellow strips are the non-skid portion, appears to be coarse sandpaper glued on. Works well. The legs and slats are welded together and the welds are good. I'm not sure about the 1000 lbs weight capacity, but I don't weigh nearly enough to test it. It is difficult to adjust the legs with just one hand, but the adjustments are positive. The legs are held on with security bolts rather than rivets, another plus. It is light weight, folds up, and easy to store. It had a good price and I'm happy with it.

This stepping stool is sturdy. I'm a big person with bad knees, this stepping stool helps me to get in my truck. I've had surgery and it has made getting around in my truck so much easier than getting in my husband's SUV. Each leg is adjustable for height. It's not to heavy and can be folded down to store. It looks nice and it's easy to see in the dark. I really like this stool most stools feel flimsy, unstable and only adjust a little. This stool is Very Sturdy, Very Adjustable, and easy to store.

These are the perfect size for my use: as portable stands for my Bose Pro 32 PA systems. They are light weight and sturdy. The sand-papery grip strips aren't ideal for my use, but I cover them with non-slip rug pad gripper. They are height adjustable and the legs fold, so they are portable.

I bought this folding RV step stool to help my aging Boxer get into the car, she was afraid of it. I now use it in the house for me. I like it because it is wide and very sturdy and makes you very secure when trying to get items out of reach. The stool also has non slip strips across it. Easy to fold down and carry in the car or RV, it also has buttons to adjust the height.

I primarily bought this to aid seniors in the family getting in and out of my truck. Although the truck is not too high off the ground it does present an issue for the elderly.I was using a plastic one which worked well and was lighter, but it had a small step which had me concerned. This step is great. It is not too heavy, folds flat nicely, has a really solid platform which is anti slip, and I love that I can adjust the height of the step for people as wellI paid more than I did for the plastic one, but this one is far more superior for both safety and sturdiness. I also think it looks a lot nicer as well. So far it has been a good value for my money and I have been using it for more than a year without issues.

We purchased this for for our RV stairs as a solution to a high step when parking on a steep grade. It's durable and leightweight and the non-skid offers a great element of safety from slip and falls. It's easy to set up and adjust. However, we purchased the black color and I would not do that again as it is a bit difficult to see in low light situations. Overall, however, a great addition to you RV/Travel Trailer inventory.

This stool is really nice for helping my dog get onto the bed in our RV. It is very convenient, as it just easily folds up and gets tucked away. I was surprised by how sturdy it is. I expected a bit of flimsiness, but it is a very strong stool. It also has nice grips on the surface to help keep you from slipping off of it.

This step is very sturdy! I love how the height is adjustable and how strong and sturdy it is. I’m not afraid to step on it at all. I have to use it to get in our 4x4 Chevy Silverado that has running boards. I tied a sting to it and take it everywhere we go! Whoever made this step….. BLESS YOU!
