Works well, but there are two drawbacks that led to my rating the product just three stars. 1) It did not last nearly as long as the 3-5 months advertised. With just two of us using the bathroom it lasted 2 months. That wouldn't be so bad if not for my second drawback. 2) The refill cartridges are pricey. I liked not scrubbing my toilet at all for two months. (I liked that a lot!) But, yearly, the cost of using this particular product outweighed the convenience. I have since switched to a similar product that uses bromine tablets that I can purchase economically from a pool store (or online). Same convenience, much more affordable.

I like that it helps to keep the bowl clean and odor free. It has only been installed one week so I can't speak of its longevity. From the description on the package, it would appear that you're being provided with a filled NeverScrub dispenser AND one refill. This is not the case. In the box, you get the dispenser mechanism and its subsequent component parts and one of the tablets. Technically, you are getting a "refill" but it's tricky language because since you're never getting a "fill", a "refill" makes it sound as if you're getting two tablets with your purchase - you are not. Buyer beware! I have discovered that refills for this system are VERY expensive. I bought a Kaboom Toilet Cleaning System for a second household toilet in the same order as this and the Kaboom, definitely IS a better deal as you get your first fill of the dispenser cartridge and one extra. Plus, the Kaboom refills are SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive than the refills for the NeverScrub dispenser. All-in-all, NeverScrub appears to be a decent product but Kaboom seems to do the same, if not a better job, for less money.

I actually purchased this cleaner just for the setup. I have seriously hard water and I live in Florida so humidity is an issue all the time even with AC I have two bathrooms in my home that are hardly ever used, if they sit for a week I get this pink and grayish ring in the bowl and mold build up under the rim that is a real problem to remove. I have been using a little beach in the toilet bowl and that does the trick for the bowl until hubby uses one of them and flushes then I'm back to the ring in the toilet, but that still didn't help under the rim so I purchase this product in March it is now the end of June and it still had some of the original cleaner in it, I used this on the toilet that gets the most use to see how it worked. I have to say I'm impressed it kept the toilet really clean but the stuff inside the cartridge has a weird odor I can't really describe it but it's funky and I don't like it but I purchase this for the reason you can put a 1" chlorine tablet in it after the cartridge is empty. I took the bottom off and put tablet in it, (for those of you who don't like bleach or chlorine smell do not do this). It is working great but you can smell the chlorine personally this isn't an issue for me I like the smell it tells me that it's clean and sanitized and I'm not killing the toilet flapper or float in the tank. I'm going to try bromine next that's supposed to do the same thing without the chlorine smell that's driving my husband crazy. Either way I just purchased two more for the toilets that only get used by company mostly. I wish the included cleaner didn't smell so weird I would just buy refills. I also noticed because yes I still clean the toilet even though it looks clean I noticed that there wasn't a hard water ring either after 1 month, usually I have to clean the toilet first then spray it with lime away and let it sit an hour to get rid of the invisible hard water ring that everything killings to. I started out with a cleaned toilet before I installed this, no ring ,no stains, and no mold, the toilet was immaculate and it still is. That's really cool I still clean it because I just feel I must but I don't have to kill myself and do a two step process and put a note on the lid that says lime away in use do not use toilet ( yes seriously). This makes my life easier and that is priceless.

!!! 6 month update !!!The systems have been in for almost 5 months and still going strong 😮. My upstairs toilets are the least used toilets and still don't need a refill. My downstairs toilet...honestly, I could get away with giving it a quick scrub and not changing the refill but we have company coming over for the 4th so I'm going to load up a new full. Folks, I'm honestly loving this system.-----------------------------------------------------------****First three pictures are one month from installation****I had my doubts. Why? I have kids and hard water.I'm from California and moved to Washington 14 yrs ago. I have never had a problem keeping my toilets clean until I gained a family and a house. It was at this point that my husband told me that Washington state has hard water and that we would have to clean the toilets with a pumice stone.Clearly, as you can see by the pictures, I don't have to any longer.

Have purchased 3 of these. Started with 1, used it for a month or so and then bought 2 more for the other toilets. Have been using these for 4 - 5 months now and have not had to clean the bowl in that time other than once to take care of a skid mark. Highly recommend these. Bought the refills and have only had to replace once in each. Only 2 people in our household so we may not flush as much as a family of 4 but finding these are well worth the price.One note: when I went to install these I found that there was a leak at the supply inside the tank using the tubes provided with the Never Scrub. So I just used the tube that was originally in the toilet and have had no issues.

AMAZING PRODUCT! If it wasn't weird, I would seriously gift this product to everyone I know just so they can try it to see how AWESOME it is! I used to get these weird yucky steaks near the rim, like mold or mildew or something, it was really gross and hard to clean. THIS PRODUCT SAVED ME! I sincerely don't have to ever clean the toilet! AND I'm a germaphobe, so ANY dirty anything freaks me out. I WILL LIKELY BUT A LIFETIME SUPPLY so if they ever stop making this, I will never run out.
