Really liking this fan … Yes it’s powerful even on the low setting, but it’s getting the job done. Will update this review if anything changes but so far, so good.

I was hesitant about purchasing a fan of this size online due to having read so many reviews about delivery of a damaged product inside a beat-up box (not necessarily this particular product). For that reason, I purchased a 36" fan from a local home improvement store. For some reason, they only offer one option, which I assumed meant they checked out all the companies and products and found this one company to manufacture the "best" industrial-sized fan. So I bought it and installed it in our garage. We could stand directly in front of that fan and hardly even feel a thing in the way of air movement. For some reason, you had to stand off to the side of the fan before you could feel anything. We knew we made a mistake in purchasing the fan, so we returned it and I decided to go with the Global Industrial option. It was delivered promptly with minimal damage to the box and no damage whatsoever to the fan. It was well-packaged. To be sure, with its sturdy floor mount, this fan is designed to be placed on the floor and not hanging on a wall. However, space is at a premium in our garage, so I re-used an old bracket on our back wall, turning the fan upside-down and hanging it by its floor mount! I'm certain that's not the intended design of the floor mount, but hey, it works! The temp in our garage in the Texas heat is often well over 100°, so any air movement is beneficial in helping to cool things down, plus if I'm outside working up a sweat, I can just stroll over and stand in front of our garage and feel the breeze that's blowing 21 feet away. My only question is, "Why isn't this fan available at home improvement stores in our area?"

Moves *a lot* of air. So much in fact that it blows stuff off of tables etc in our warehouse.When it's super hot, this fan does the job to move air and keep people cool...but for casual cooling it really, really needs a lower speed setting.This fan only has three speeds, off medium and high.

For the size of fan the overall footprint is slim and makes it very nice for not taking up too much space.

These turned out to be better than expected. We were very pleased with these purchases.
