I have been in the market for a good knife sharpener as I wasn't quite ready to start the art of whetstones, however, this sharpener saved me! Perfect and easy to use and keeps all my knives super sharp for easy home cooking. Totally recommend it!!

This is a great choice for the average user--it's easy to use and foolproof! The handle makes it safe to hold with one hand while you sharpen the blade with the other. Make sure you hold on to the handle firmly as the base has no suction power and could shift if not applying pressure. Overall outstanding value for the product at a fraction of the cost of more "upscale" competitors.

I've postponed buying a knife sharpener for years fearing that no sharpener would match a new set of knives. The design caught my eye and interest. This one appeared to be better than more expensive models due to its broader base---which I knew would greatly enhance safety by stablising this sharpener when in use. I reasoned that this safer design over the more expensive ones was worth purchasing. I wasn't affected by the occasional negative review because, again, the design had me sold and at 66 yrs old I've spoken to many people over the years who complained of a product without reading or following instructions. I FOLLOW THEM BECAUSE WITH ALL THINGS MECHANICAL, SUCCESS IS IN THE DETAILS. Don't wing it!!You must have the recommended angle and firmness on the blade as you pull the blade through the sharpener. Details!!!This product restored the cutting edge to extremely sharp on an entire set of OLD, DULL cutlery. It only required I apply many more passes through the sharpener to restore the knives. I could see the metal shavings so I knew it was working and stuck with it until mission accomplished. It even worked on our serrated-edge bread knife! It works folks. Follow the directions. Ray

Good product and easy to use. Knives come out sharp.

I brought this for a handicapped person who was having a problem with dull knives. This person kept saying they needed to take the knives and have them sharpened. I looked on Amazon and saw this one and figured they maybe able to use one like this instead. Well what to my wondering eyes 👀 did I imagine but this person and this knife sharpening tool having a good time. Person thanked me so much I got of the THANKS and wanted to take the sharpener back. Works really well and very happy for the handle to be placed on the side. Thanks for that genius idea.

This sharpener has a whole lot of potential. It is sturdy. Well built and easy to use. Sadly, it just doesn't work well. When you pull a high quality kitchen knife thru it, it sounds like a metal to metal screeching car wreck. My fault. I thought it was a ceramic or diamond sharpener. I did not read description closely enough. It's in the garage now. Suitable for machete blades or tool sharpening for sure. Maybe not so much for a Zwilling

I love the automatic adjustment for kitchen and pocket knives...the unit self adjusts to the blade. Just what I have been looking for!
